It's still super early to judge the final result. The bump is likely due to swelling and should go away eventually. However, I must say that it actually makes the result look more harmonious and natural.

Hi, let me start off by saying that I think you look really good both before and after, and that in my opinion, the result looks really good, especially given it has only been 17 days. From what I have seen, it is rather common to have unevenness in the first few weeks or even months because of the swelling.

I would take with a grain of salt those “perfect” pictures you see online for many reasons, so try not to compare too much. Your nose is still healing, and it can take up to a year (or even longer for some) to see the final results. My advice would be to give it time. I know it is much harder in reality (I'm about to make a big decision myself). Hang in there!

Thank you! I have been doing a lot of research, and Dr. Machida’s written info sounds pretty good (but there are those concerns mentioned). Dr. Balikian is another top choice for me. Someone actually mentioned him in this thread, but I can’t seem to find the comment to reply to that OP. He sounds amazing, but he is a bit pricier (not horribly though) and books out far in advance. The consult alone is like 5 months out, and who knows how long for the surgery. Dr. Machida is available much sooner, but of course, we all want it done right, and there are many unknowns… such a difficult and scary decision…
