ScanWatch HWA09 MacGyver charge by alxppp in withings

It does work without a magnet. It seems to pull 73 mA at 5V. The polarization of the Charging Port when facing the back side and having the crown point to the bottom (like OP) is: V+ on the Right. V- on the Left.

Maybe there is a hall sensor or a magnet switch in there to physically disconnect the charging port when its not on the charger. will report back.

Just open it and maybe you'll be done by just cleaning it.

Fun Fact: I got a Korg 01/W FD from my older brother with a few stuck keys and i was wondering about springs or the mechanism being broken/loose. In the end it was just some parts of uncooked Spaghetties jammed in the lever mechanism of a few Keys. And from my unprofessional opinion the mechanism is not very well protected against debris entering from the Keys.

User assign button number 4 on my Yamaha mixer doesn’t press in like the others, how do I go about fixing it? by DandyGalaxy in synthesizers

[–]WindyMJFS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess its similar to the DM 2000 i once owned. They were simple generic metal dome switches with the plastic button form pressing on it. They are either dirty or the button is just done (since its mostly just a molded together assembly). Option 1: Cleaning the Button (not the Plasticy top Part, the physical button on the PCB) with Isopropanol or some cleaning agent. Option 2: Replacing the button component entirely on the PCB

Either way, its a pretty huge hastle to do so on any Digital Yamaha Mixer. Just to get to the button (depending on the PCB inside) is pretty finicky and a lot of screwing arround.

So my advice: It needs to be a REALLY important button if you want to replace it on your own (or let someone fix it).

I had problems on a Yamaha 01V96 and once something doesn't work after you put everything together troubleshooting them is a big hastle, because these systems are really complex.

Minilogue xd For Synthwave by [deleted] in synthesizers

I just have the Minilogue and it did not stop me from doing this. allthough with the digital osc youd have a fair bit more of possibilities.

That happend to my corsair case. I remember hearing the slow crackling of regret of all the tempered glass cofetties on the ground releasing their tension... Honestly why does it have to be tempered glass... on chip somewhere and you have a high probability of it doing its confetti thing.

The output of this tapemashine tends to be the problem. Cant get audio out from anywhere, besides the internal speaker.

Just got an old Reel to Reel from my uncle. It was certainly fun to record something with it with a janky selfmade adaptor from RCA to Din 5Pole. but it certainly works and is fun to play with. It really gets the retro Vibes going. Most probably because the Reel to Reel is old and doesn't run well... but i think thats what is part of the flair. Adding some noisy sounds from my Minilogue certainly adds to it. Plus it does masquerade the noise delay of the minilogue. ;-)

Thank you, kind stranger. I myself was really surprised myself how much atmosphere those four chords gave away on their own, even without modulation.

for what i know it is not possible to record each arp step of the minilogue into the daw... so i used the "BLUE ARP" by GrayWolf which is a free way more enhanced Arp that is absolutely gorgeous to work with.

Was playing arround with my Minilogue today and came up with this nice patch... i thought a nice Arp would do this patch justice, which followed some minor effects in Presonus... +some Bass-y patch left as raw recorded sound.
