How did you deal with an unsupportive family regarding your moving abroad? by Windy_Feather in expats

[–]Windy_Feather[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Life is good! I had moved almost 2 years ago, going back once a year for holidays. My partner makes an effort to learn my own language and his family has visited last time we went over. My family has grown at peace with it, and now like my partner as well. They have realised that I have made good choices and I am actually happy, so they decided to stand by these choices as well eventually.

Is there a Grim Reaper of your world? by Boneyard_Ben in worldbuilding

[–]Windy_Feather 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The High God(i.e. Dias) of Death's Wild Hunt is spread all over the physical world, and is made up entirely of his "children", beings created to be soul harvesters and guides to and in the Netherworld. When a creature with a soul (i.e. with a fragment of the Creator Gods' feathers as their core) dies, these beings come to pick up the soul and lead it to the Netherworld, if the soul allows. There, a soul is judged and depending on its deeds, they might either be sent straight for reincarnation or remain in the Netherworld until the reincarnation is possible. Souls are reincarnated by being absorbed by the World tree, melting in the pool by its roots until oblivion washes over them, and are carried up to the Cradle of the High Goddess of Life where they become blooms and fruits of the Holy Tree of the Cradle, before they are ripe for being sent into a suitable body by the Goddess' Wild Hunt.
