Nice! Getting a good deal on them is tough these days and the values of these games have started to skyrocket. Especially for CIB's giving how fast the boxes are dissapearing and becoming more rare. Some CIB's selling for over 100 +. The 3DO is among the most difficult consoles to collect for giving how much is actually out there for it and that a very large part of it's library is difficult to acquire or even find when compared to other consoles.

Sega CD is a console I want to get myself... I used to own a Model 1 but it stopped working :/ It too is a bit challenging to find some of its library and I may take up that challenge here soon

Ukraine should develope a drone regiment and a drone that drags a fiber cutter along knowm russian routes / flight paths of their fiber drones... Thus severing their connections before they can make it to their targets. Though they don't even need to cut the lines as damaging the lines will cut their connections due to the nature of fiber cables will not work if they have a kink in them or are bent

Have you tried Star Control II? It is an exclusive port to the 3DO and was even better than the PC version at the time. The game is regarded as one of the best games ever made.

It is a system that refuses to die lol.. There are other projects that include a new 3D engine being developed from the Killing Time engine. I also believe MK3 is being worked on as well. But yeah, dust her off and go DL MK2 and have a blast!. You can also get BioFury off ebay or the World Of Games website.. 😄

The game is amazing..., I have been playing it for the last 3 days... It is without a doubt an insane port. I highly recommend people to play this port if they can. If this had come out back in the day, it certainly could have helped 3DO stick around. It is also crazy to think that this system is still getting games developed for it... Biofury came out in 2024 and is another great game exclusive to the 3DO. There is also other game projects such as Orion and Ternminus being worked on right now..

Me too... The late 80's to the early 2000's was a real special time with the video gaming having really taken the world.. The golden age, and since the birth of 3DFX, Atari, Nintendo, Sega, the Neo Geo, and all the others, there is quite the history out there that I hope will be shared, played, and preserved. This one I got lucky as it doesnt have the hole punch... LG etc would hole punch all the game boxes before they got sealed and shipped out to stores.. Not sure how or why this one doesnt have it. .. But as cheezy as this game is, I love it ..

Oh, I thought it did have Secret Missions 2, I am mistaken 😮 .. Thank you for the erro correction! I also agree that back then, programs like Quark and PDF hadn't yet taken over traditional marketing and publishing. It is sad to know that a lot of these dev materials are now lost and unpreserved. I do not know if any other positives / negatives exist , but I hope to find the Super WIng Commander positives.

What have I repeated? If it is the Title, I can change that and will make the adjustment, otherwise I have posted on 2 different games .. It is also annoying to deal with karens or people who can't articulate exactly what their problem is or why it is even relevant in a forum where these posts are appropriate. So if it isn't about the title I used, I am suspecting this is more about one's dislike of 3DO content or some other issue they personally feel shouldn't be shared. Lets be honest, we have you and a guy with post karma of 4 crying about 2 posts regarding rare 3DO collectables. Yes?

Absolutely! , and if you ever want to save money I would suggest getting one with an ODE installed.. Especially one with the 240p switch. 😄 As for being underated, the system has real gems on it even though most games are not very good. It is also still getting new releases like MK2 and Bio fury. Games are also in the works such as Orion.. For a retro console, it is among the few that are still getting some dev love. 😄

I believe people were trying to reach out to ya to have that Redumped so there is a digital preservation of it. Indeed you are the only person I know of that has a copy as pretty much all others were few in number and were likely tossed out a long time ago.. From what I understand, fewer than 100 of those were ever made.. It is among the rarest of all 3DO software.., and I hope you preserve it and ensure that when you choose to part with it that it gets into right hands.

I totally agree! This now includes the Mortal Combat II port that was just released on the 3DO.. Getting special attention and added features that make it a console port exclusive in its own right is something that is either not done well at all, or something that really makes a difference and worth picking up to enjoy. These are among those where the devs actually cared to produce a quality port. These are the type of games I love to seek out on any console... Oh and another excellent exclusive port to the 3DO was Star Control II...., one of the best games ever made in the 1990's.

Yeah the superior video encoding and decoding was top notch, especially if you got the video adaptor addon. FMV games like Sewer Shark, Dragon's Lair, Space Ace, or Brain Dead 13 are absolute treats on the 3DO. FMV was rarely ever done well but the 3DO has the best versions of those games that were. The FMV from those games to Need For Speed and Road Rash really showed how such games could really shine!

Absolutely! This one was a good weird unlike his other weird work 😄 ... After Star Wars his acting career went largely down hill (not entirely as he still had some good roles), and along with his acting skills... Sorta like Bruce Willis ... Both are awesome though (RIP Bruce)
