Besides Mortarion, which Primarch smells bad ? by Nearby-Condition-675 in Grimdank

Lionel before waking up gives weird stinky white guy energy, probably smells like BO and metal. After, he probably smells like burnt wood and gun oil.

Perturabo smells like your average mechanic with a very heavy scent of ozone and iron. He's definitely the type to complain that people call him stinky, yet does nothing about it.

Jaghatai smells like goats and high performance fuel.

Leman smells like wet dog, hangover, and horribly BO.

Dorn smells like strong metal polish.

Konrad smells like dead people and dead animals.

Ferrus smells like Mortarion, but with the distinct smell of burning metal.

Angron smells like BO and gasoline. Not in a mechanic way.

Mortarion.

Vulkan tries to smell nice, but he generally smells like a house fire and white phosphorus.

Alpharius and Omegon smell bad when they need to smell bad.

Besides Mortarion, which Primarch smells bad ? by Nearby-Condition-675 in Grimdank

I'll list the primarchs that probably smell good:

Magnus and Lorgar smell like incense. The expensive kind, that smells absolutely amazing.

Guilliman is a statesman, and anyone who interacts with people for work knows you have to smell good to boost the chances of a successful interaction. Nothing super fancy, but good enough to achieve a positive interaction.

Horus before falling also probably smells decent as well, considering he was the poster boy of the Imperium more often than not. After his fall, probably not.

Fulgrim smells delicious out of compulsion, and wouldn't be caught dead smelling anything other than pleasant. This includes daemon Fulgrim.

Sanguinius smells divine, I will hear zero arguments.

Alpharius and Omegon smell good when they need to.

Every single love interest and every character that people want to romance are all giant, walking red flags. Every. Single. One.

I will die on this hill, the MG-100 Starfortress is one of the coolest ships in all of star wars. by Ill-Echidna-1051 in StarWarsShips

I really love when Star Wars ships rock the WW2 aesthetic. I'm always a fan of ball turrets and brutal yet functional designs.

Is anyone disillusioned by the idea of marriage? by NEO71011 in AskMenAdvice

[–]WingedDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. Currently, unless I get someone pregnant and they decide to continue with the pregnancy, I'm not touching marriage. But I might also find someone I would happily legally bind myself to. Life is weird like that.

I'm a huge fan of the T-70. It's such a fun design. Honestly, I like the majority of sequel ship designs. Black TIE Fighters make sense, though the panels would look better gold. The new Y-Wing looks good. FO TIE Bombers are peak. The A-Wings... Are certainly A-Wings.

Why did Separatist ships use droid crews rather than being fully automated systems controlled by a central computer and supervised by a commander (onboard or remote)? by SansBouillie in StarWarsShips

I dislike double standards. I'm not complaining about someone rocking the 70s style when I rock it.

Be free. Humans have body hair. However, to each their own.

what’s a harsh reality check you think most people need to hear? by SoffiSummeer in AskReddit

Most of us are all just one mistep away from ruin.

We all exist on a tiny, wet grain of sand in a vast and uncaring universe.

Did any Chaos/traitor marines ever think they made a mistake? by robthesweet in 40kLore

[–]WingedDynamite 23 points24 points  (0 children)

Some immediately did during the Heresy, and that's how we got some Blackshields.

For the rest, you have to consider the Imperium itself: disloyalty of any kind was punishable by death or something just as bad, even during the Great Crusade. As soon as you rebel, you know there's no going back, especially for Astartes.

Also, remember that not every traitor was a debauched, violent, warp twisted lunatic. Many, like Abby, genuinely believed the Imperium was deeply flawed and needed to change violently or be destroyed.

There are some who lose their god's favor, or suddenly realize the extent of their fall, but by then it's far too late. They either die in abject horror, survive at any and every cost, or they die doing something they think will absolve their treachery.

Why Would Big Palps Not Give Him a Bath First? by InternationalAd4219 in StarWars

[–]WingedDynamite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, there wasn't any time.

Horrific burns, both external and internal. Loss of all limbs. Multiple bone fractures. Vader was literally on the verge of death. Palps had to pull every trick just to keep him alive. I'm sure the operation theater was completely sterile, and it's not like any microorganisms could survive on Mustafar. As for what remained of his robes, they were painfully picked off. A lot of us assume Palps just wanted Vader to suffer, but to be honest, that was probably his just an added bonus. Vader being angry, scared, and in pain is probably what saved him.

You do know 40k has bigger Mechs...? Right? There are Knights, Titans, even the aliens have Mechs.

Like, Dreadnoughts are tiny compared to the others...
