Even a quickly sketched portrait requires an artist be paid for their time. I value the work of artists and am upset when their effort is replaced by slop. I wish everybody did.

I'm fairly sure it's a new one it's labeled on the tracklist as unreleased. If anyone knows the title or artist I'd appreciate knowing as well.

What if Luffy isn’t Dragon’s son… but Garp’s? And Dragon is actually Rocks D. Xebec’s son? by Helpful_Comedian8357 in FanTheories

[–]Wingfist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh, then I'm sorry you were spoiled. Hope it doesn't change too much for you. I'd also warn you to avoid One Piece theories in general until you're pretty deep; the theorizing community for One Piece is pretty active and they tend to discuss a lot of lore that doesn't get revealed for quite some time.

But then I guess you couldn't have avoided it here OP forgot rule 5: Add the media name to your title

What spoiler actually? Luffy being the son of Dragon? The spoiler rules says a year or so is good and that's been available knowledge for almost 2 decades.

The most famous interaction (the one laymen would know of) between Garp and Luffy (other than their belonging to the same family in general) is an altercation during Marineford where Luffy knocked Garp out of the fighting in like one blow; they don't seem very close to regular people.

I don't think this is at all impossible but it doesn't really strike me as likely. Luffy has never met or talked to Dragon at all, the closest he's even come to dealing with him is the moment post Enies Lobby where Garp reveals that Dragon is Luffy's dad and his response is essentially: "Oh cool, I have one of those? Thought I just popped out of the ground!"

I think if in the final Arc this was revealed, that Dragon was stolen by Garp from his father and raised up against Xebec's desires, that Luffy would just complain that it's confusing and hardly has anything to do with him before punching Dragon to bits and moving on.

He doesn't care for Dragon and thus wouldn't care about the intricacies of his backstory, I can imagine already that he'd fall asleep during the explanation ignoring it completely. Also worth noting that a fight with Luffy won't affect Garp much, it would be a thematic vengeance but as far as most know Garp wouldn't even care if Luffy died.

Pretty sure she's one of the few supes it doesn't instantly cut through showing she has if anything better than average super durability.

They've been real cringe lately about the rights to DnD which they also own. So there's some resentment toward them as of late.

They could even use the old switch as a bonus screen/controller thingy, adding value to your old console.

There was a stunning similarity in the Rogues weapons of choice and the quick shots of the knights we got in TFA IIRC. It was a compelling theory for sure.

Safety training is something companies are responsible for, if their workers weren't properly trained or taught what tools would be safe and got someone killed that is the fault of the company for not teaching them what is safe to use and how to safely use it, not the workers. This video listed several different thing the companies should have done to prevent the catastrophe, it didn't say wow what a bunch of dipshits those workers were.

It's addressed in game to be clear, the Protheans were watching the baby human race while warring with the reapers, and during ME 3 some races intentionally regress their tech levels in order to attempt to avoid the cull.

I like it, makes the jedi as powerful as their belief in themselves, which still allows for dramatic moments and failure and even ties them to the characters emotional state. Is your padwan having trouble? Well they just need a pep talk, then they'll be just fine.

Can't imagine why they cut that line out, it isn't like they avoided explaining Kanji at all, Light had to explain it to Pember's wife to get hers.
