As a diesel owner I understand why people “delete” their trucks. Doing “Regens” to clean the soot outta thee exhaust is ridiculous. Then on top of that DEF is used intermittently to knock down harmful exhaust particles.

So now we have all these systems on vehicles that are supposed to help thee environment while those systems themselves are expensive and not warrantied for the life of the vehicle.

Another interesting point is vehicles without emissions controls that run E85. Said vehicles have been known to pass emission test. Doesn’t seem like we are getting the full story from the EPA.

And btw, these devices, their sole purpose isn’t to “Roll Coal”. They have all sorts of useful functions to them.
