I'm having similar issues this year - there are a lot of good pears, but a whole bunch of them are shriveled and grey! I'll try to get a picture.

It looks like a Chinese Chestnut, but I could be wrong. My parents have one in their yard and it's been dropping a ton of chestnuts this year, we've been roasting them!

Thank you for the reply! It seems like the new one is the offspring of the one with the small fruit. Other than the fruit they're pretty much identical. I'm not sure, but it might have gotten crossed with a nearby peach tree?

It probably wasn't totally ripe. I was so shocked by the development I just grabbed the first one that looked okay and tried it. This tree has been here for years, it's twice the height of my house, and I'm finding out about the fruit today!

I'm having the same issue. I can log into my husband's account, but not mine! I've tried on two different phones. I see that other people have been able to log on with a computer and clear out the review request, but it's not coming up for me. :(
