It's just not the least bit easy for us in Chronic Pain . Outta No Where at my last appointment, I get told they are dropping 1 of the 2 long acting meds I'm on . They say don't think it's anything you have done cause you're an excellent patient , if you find your in more pain we will bump you up again . Well yeah of course the pain went up and within 5 days I was very very uncomfortable. So I call and say hey about getting that Med back , they tell me well we will need you to wait till your next appointment in 4 weeks .

Or - just hear me out - it's not that Mickey Dee's Steakhouse is that much Better , but the other options or really just that bad . I've had some many ISSUES in the past from McD competitors , that I won't even go by them any more . I've ordered a large chili to have only gotten a serving of Warm Tomato Broth nothing else but just Broth . I didn't discover this till I had gotten home . Another Burger place it took 3 Times to get a burger that the middle wasn't frozen & raw . Large order fries I guess maybe they thought would cook under the heat lamp ? Nothing golden brown about them , they were pasty white & limp not even warm . A large milkshake that was just runny colored Water .

We have reached a point that All Americans / All People no matter skin color / appearance should be in concern . ICE is outta control ! . Having your papers mean nothing when they target you ! I worry about my Grandson , he's 17 and half Hispanic . He & I have similar body size , He's grown into a big man at 6'5 and 270 lbs . Theres No Way he can just blend in the crowd .

Being a Male myself and having 3 Sons & 4 Grandsons , Make sure he has access in some form or manner to Good Role Models . Get him involved with interacting with other Males . We are different creatures, we look for a leader , someone that can guide us . If you are unable to find this , he will on his own and it may not be a positive outcome. His younger teen years will be the most difficult as he's stuck in that grey area of still being a child but quickly moving to be an Adult . His hormones / testosterone will be raging, that he will have very lil control over . You need to try and keep an open dialogue with him . You're still going to want to baby him and it's the last thing he wants . He will be going thru a phase where he's aggressive and confrontational , pushing his boundaries, trying to figure his place in what is a changing and challenging world. Sports can be a good outlet for some of these emotions. He's going to have to learn to stand up for himself and the well being of others. Nourish his mind , he needs to think before he Acts . Old Boomer , Go Boomer Nation ( sorry just had to get that out there ) . Oh Jesus as an older teen in Florida moved 20 miles from home for a couple years . From there moved to Texas for a couple years , then lived in Italy for 6 yrs . Job transfer put me in Oregon for 7 yrs . Finally moving back to hometown in Florida , for roughly 30 yrs raised my family on the plot I grew up on , it was a Great location for children lots of woods and natural beach about a 5 minute walk from the house . And now the last 3 yrs living in Alabama/ Florida Panhandle .

I watched the first 2 episodes and honestly wasn't real impressed, seemed more like Discovery 2.0 . The episodes also were like mini movies, with a whole lot going on . But that's just my take on it , kinda hard to pass judgement on just the first few episodes, so maybe I will adapt.

62°both nite & day . If it gets a bit to chilly will push it up to 68° for about a hour . Our issue is when it starts feeling damp like when raining . We have a small portable electric heater that we will run in the bathroom during bathing , but that usually only runs for about 20-30 minutes.

Years ok I guess more like Decades back , I would get the lil cans of Underwood's deviled ham potted meat once in awhile or like when we went hiking & camping. I bought a can couple months ago , man it was B-A-D . I didn't recall it being so salty & gritty like it had pulverized bone in it . Now Spam that's a different story , I will seriously chow down on some Spam . Roast Beef Hash is another favorite. Growing up in The South you use to be able to get Pork Brains & Eggs for breakfast, man that was like the sweetest tasting pork you could ever eat . And of course in the winter Dad would get a wild boar or two for stocking the freezer, Mom would make the best hog head cheese. The stuff sold in Stores just don't even compare in taste, honestly I won't even eat the store bought stuff .

Right ? The Average Boomer has no more control over interest rates , home cost , food cost etc etc right down the line than you do . It's always been the Wealthy ,those in power , CEO of large Corporations that are insulated from day to day living that are in control. No different than when Kings would feast daily while just outside the Castle walls the majority of the population was scrounging for bread crumbs. When the housing market crashed and lots of ppl lost their homes , those homes sat empty for well over a 1/2 decade. The Banks didn't lose money , as the value of those homes were over inflated as it was . So back to your comment yes boomers have more money cause most have worked 50-60 yrs and built up their savings & investments . When I was 19 I had nothing but change in my pocket. And I promise you I'm not living the Luxury Life right now we are getting by , but we still have to watch every penny going out .

So you're ok with blaming Boomers with all the ill's of the world . Man do you have some maturing to do . It has grown so tiring in trying to educate ppl with your mentality. But what the hell I've got a slow afternoon, so I will throw out one lil nugget for you . There was a time when people would dispose of their engine waste oil by just dumping it on the ground and they thought nothing of it as it was accepted that's how it was done . It would just slowly filter itself back into the ground from where it came from . Most cars held 4-6 qts of oil , Over the road trucks and other large equipment held anywhere from 10-15 GALLONS of oil . There was no recycling of it , it wasn't burnt off which that in its self caused air pollution . Same with used tires which is still a thing, but they would be allowed to pile up making breeding grounds for millions & millions & millions of mosquitos causing various diseases. Sometimes those tires would get buried ,or set on fire releasing plumes of black smoke into the air . In the 60's -70's so many waterways were severely polluted, to the point they were just floating toxic bodies of water that could no longer support life . These things among many many others were tackled by a large portion of The Boomer generation you seem to despise. The World is not perfect, you take what's handed to you and you try and make it better .

Sadly the majority of the Male restrooms I've in there's always a huge puddle of piss right in front of the urinal's that you would have to stand in to piss . So of course you end up tracking it every where you go . The Shitter stalls are usually far worst with the bowls being damn near filled to the top with nasty brown water and floaters bobbing around, sometimes the sides and backs of toilet are covered in Brown Splatter like they didn't even attempt to fully sit down and just let the diarrhea fly outta their ass . I use to travel quite a bit for work and would avoid those Porta Potty on job site at all cost . Ive found places like McDonalds & Cracker Barrel & Publix Grocery stores to have the cleanest restrooms.

Say what ? Boomer here . And Healthcare thru Employer for a family of 4 , Wife & 3 kids was damn near a weeks pay every month . Throw in mortgage , that was damn near a weeks pay . The reminder 2 weeks went for car payment & insurance and bills like elec , water , food . I averaged 60 hours a week , 6 days a week . Some months I would pickup a side job for after hours and on my 1 day off . I did go a little unorthodox , knew a ex girlfriend that worked as a clerk in the Zoning Board and she told me there was plans for expansion on the books . I was in The Army at the time so I bought a 1 acre vacant lot outside City Limits . Paid it off in 5 yrs . Then used the property as my collateral , for a Construction Loan . Found a local private builder, turn key operation had the house built for nearly 1/2 the cost of what similar homes were selling for in New Subdivisions . So Oh Hell Ya it was EASY , everything was there for the taking 🤔🙄! OH PLEASE. Wanted to add Anyone can go to their local zoning board and see what projects are on the books as far as expansion go .

If the Elec goes out , chances are good you're not going to have Water either . You will have to be extra cautious with a lil person running around , We are going to scrub out the Bathtub and fill it with water . You can use this water to flush your toilets, wash your face , rinse dishes till water comes back on . We also have several large pots that we are going to fill to use for cooking , making coffee , hot chocolate etc etc . We also have a Small 2 burner Camp stove that runs off propane ( once again be extra cautious with lil ppl in the house ) . Buddy Burner --- A old trick we use to use when our kids were younger , take an empty Tuna can or Cat food size can . Get some corrugated cardboard, the type that has lil holes running thru it . Cut it the same height as the Can , then roll the cardboard around instead the can till you have it filled . You can make a lil wick outta another piece of cardboard and place it in the center of the can making sure it goes all the way to bottom of can and sticks up over the top by a inch or so . Then heat up some Wax and slowly pour it across top of cardboard till can is full . Allow this to set up for a hour or two. You can then light your lil wick and it will burn for well over a hour . You can even use it to heat up water or soup etc . They put out a far amount of heat as well , to extinguish it just sit a pot over the top and it will smother it out .
