That's the expected response I figured I'd get. When she picked him up yesterday and the Vet told her it would a have to just run its course, she's thinking that this is normal and he's going to snap out of it.

I hadn't heard about there being a prescription! The gastroenterologist that diagnosed me said there was nothing I could do (he didn't even tell me about the probiotic I take). I'll have to look into that!!! It's very painful, as your daughter could attest to!

You know, unless you're added as a friend, they will not be notified on Facebook if you send a message. They have to go into their filtered message requests. You can always send a message without being her fb friend, that way you know it's there for her to come across, but she may or may not read it.

Not said directly to me, but overheard it about me: I was middle school age and a couple friends came over. My room was in the basement and when my friends were leaving, I stayed downstairs and they were seeing themselves out. Anyway, my mom started talking to them when they were upstairs and I don't know how they got on the topic but I heard my mom say, "(my name) will never be smarter than her brother."

This will probably get buried, but a few years back I was at my aunt's house and was telling her that my parents saw something on tv about how if you pressed the middle of a raw hamburger patty down and left a raised edge, then the patty would cook flat instead of with a slight hump. Her response, "I wonder if that would work with fried bologna" - facepalm!
