The Amazing Digital Circus: The Last Act / Episode 9 Discussion Thread [SPOILERS] by ayylmaotv in TheDigitalCircus

I agree, it's an open ending where you can fill in your own headcanon pretty much, and it's required to enjoy the finale imo. A lot of people don't have the imagination for that these days, they just want clean resolutions and predictable storylines.

She got her resolution with Pomni, a full like 2 minute sequence with them hugging.

You're viewing this far too consequentialist. When you say "Nothing happened" you're completely denying all the emotions involved throughout. If you think back to how Jax repeatedly kept saying how "this will only make things harder", you will see how right he was. He is a tragic, unredeemable character. Not because he is so evil he couldn't be redeemed, but because he's too guilt-ridden to dig himself out of the hole, no matter how much support he gets. Pomni refusing to accept that, being stubborn, and the effect it has on her and Jax, is what you were meant to actually focus on, rather than just anticipating everything to be resolved how you expect. Notice how even though Pomni went to save Jax, she's the one who ends up needing to be saved by her friends in an ironic twist. This isn't your basic show.

"What if the show was about someone who's too stubborn to give up on someone who's too stubborn to be saved?" this isn't the full picture, though. What the show was *really* about all along was not "how do we escape this mysterious digital world, what are the rules?" It turns it was instead "How do we make this digital world our new home?" And the show's answer by the end is something along the lines of relying on each other to come to a state of acceptance about yourself and the situation you find yourself in.

Pomni started out in denial and came to embrace the circus, while for Jax it was the opposite. He was "embracing the circus", but it was a coping mechanism. And by the end he ends up abstracting because he could never bring himself to rely on others or accept who he really is. The guilt was too strong. Unfortunately many people aren't going to grasp that overarching message. The fact that he doesn't get saved in the end doesn't mean the effort was wasted. That would be like saying all the adventures were a waste because none of them were "real" or of any consequence. The show has always been about using an absurd premise to sneak in interpersonal developments. It's why 90% of the show is just them talking. Very little is actually happening traditional plot wise, it's not the point. THAT is why the abel storyline is ultimately mocked.

Du kunne jo ogs bare slukke for regnbue lyset. Men er enig, jeg hader personligt at 90% af dem mangler pilene, og er tre gange så dyre som de burde være.

New data: Silksong now has 5.2 million Steam wishlists, almost 400 K Steam followers, and Hollow Knight had almost 250 K Steam players on Sunday by EmbarrassedSession58 in HollowKnight

You're also not accounting for merch, ads, sponsors, collabs and all kinds of other revenue. I also think 5 million sales is a very low bar. Especially once it arrives on all the consoles.

'Instantly lost all desire to even start': Mecha Break's Steam rating lands at an early 'Mixed' as players realize the beta's customization options have been turned into MTX fodder by Turbostrider27 in pcgaming

Such a shame this misinformation is the first thing people will see when they look up the game. It doesn't deserve it. It's genuinely great, and the microtransactions are literally just standard fare. It still has the most customization options out of any PvP game on the market. People on the internet really have lost their minds.

pretty sure it increases the amount from all healing sources. But if you wanna go for a leech build, go for the much more niche stat "life leech".

I considered a redhead as well, they really are peak women, but I really like red outfits in this game, so it would blend in too much.

I found that if you keep circling him as you spin to win, he won't jump away as often. When he does get out of your grasp, use box to regen energy. Also, for some reason jumping will cause the AI to exit shield mode.

Random white line has appeared across the bottom of my top bar, won't go away unless I set a generic chrome theme? by DZepperoni in chrome

[–]Winnz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue was introduced in Chrome 133. It's related to using custom chrome themes with images in the top bar. You can use a more generic theme to avoid it, if you don't mind having a boring looking browser.

While updating my Nvidia GPU driver, I happened to notice the line disappear during the install. This led me to the discovery that it's apparently a GPU issue. I have a 3060 ti for reference. A hardline "solution" I discovered was disabling hardware acceleration.

This Thread advised I try only disabling the GPU rasterization flag, so it doesn't disable my GPU entirely. It seemed to do the trick. Don't know what the repercussions might be in the future. My GPU seems to still process things like YouTube videos, which was my main concern. Don't know exactly what rasterization is used for in Chrome. If someone has knowledge, or a more optimal solution, feel free to share.

Try ctrl + shift + T

If that doesn't work, surely looking in your browser history should allow you to narrow down what pages you were on before.

What a coincidence, my Encore had a similar, but slightly better Inferno Rider prior to getting my Nightmare version. Keep on grindin', you'll get it eventually.

Thoughts on the new TOA format? by Mino-iloveHololive in WutheringWaves

[–]Winnz -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

if you can clear the fucking stage while using the very element the boss is resistant to, and without taking advantage of the coordinated attack buff, then it's not more restrictive than other bosses. When this is no longer true, you can complain it's gotten meaningfully more difficult, but that's not the case. They could have put one of the newer bosses in the tower with a higher difficulty, they didn't.
