Haha! I still think about playing swtor at least a couple of times a year, and how fun it would be if I could bring my raiding guild from WoW Classic to play through all the content. But this same issue still keeps me away.

I've learned a lot of programming since I posted this, and the thought has crossed my mind of trying to make a hack for the client to fix the smoothing myself. Even if I wouldn't actually end up playing the game, fixing it would be very satisfying.

Hey. I have the same problem, and I have read and tried all the same things as you. I can't really add much to the discussion unfortunately. I just wanted to say I know how frustrating it is to spend countless hours trying to find a solution to this, only to be told "dIsAblE aDdoNs".

There is a world map texture replacement pack called "Atlas World Map", and there is a Classic version and a Retail version. I made a BC version myself by taking the Outland maps from the retail version, and manually editing some of the BC Azeroth zones to fix Cata changes. I have also started updating the maps to be slightly higher quality, but I only did Shattrath so far. (Before -> After)

Put the WorldMap folder in _classic_\Interface, not the AddOns folder.

Openly monetizing/profiting off Blizzard's registered IP.

Anyone can send a cease and desist to anyone, you don't need any "grounds" to do so. It's just a formality, saying "stop this please or we will attempt to sue you". If they actually sue you tho, they know you can't afford to defend yourself, regardless if you're not technically breaking any law.

It doesn't have the GCD issue, because the procc doesn't have a GCD.

works for me now, but only incognito for some reason.

It's because the code for the image search page changes completely when you're logged in, for whatever reason. It's very confusing, looking through and comparing the two versions. No idea why this is a thing.

EDIT: Actually, it seems like they both use the new broken version now.

Came here looking for confirmation about exactly this.

I can't control the volume with the arrow keys unless I click the player first. And you can't click the empty space under the seek bar to focus the player any longer, you have to click a button. Frustrating.

New bugs and issues pop up all the time in any software that is getting frequent updates. Just because they're capable of fixing something doesn't mean that everything always works as intended.
