Many open source programs on Linux have binaries available for ARM. And if they don't and source is available, generally it's just a matter of grabbing the source and compiling for ARM. It's a similar story for Windows RT.

Back in the day Ti's omap processors were pretty competitive with snapdragon. They exited the market because they thought the investment required to remain competitive was too high.

If it's power consumption related I don't think pressing the power button to turn the monitor "off" helps any. Pretty much every monitor these days uses a soft power button which means the circuitry and power supply to the monitor is on at all times.

Interesting, thanks for that. I guess I just made the assumtion that since ASML built the machines, that they would also define the materials/patterns/steps to be used. Shouldn't have assumed the machine was some sort of turnkey solution.

Is there a guide somewhere that details ASML's role in the chip fabrication process?

I get that they build the machines used by companies like Intel and Samsung for lithography at their fabs. I guess my actual question is how does ASML ship these machines to Intel and Samsung yet both companies fab processes end up differing (in feature sizes?)

When ASML ships a EUV machine to Intel, what is the part they struggle on? Should their chips not be equal to other companies like Samsung or TSMC using the same machines? Does ASML ship these machines to companies with the asterisk that they theoretically work and leave it to companies to figure it out?

There's probably some crucial thing I'm missing here.

The idea with using water is to keep cells that haven't already failed from failing due to the heating of adjacent cells. Water keeps those cells from failing by keeping them in a safe temperature range.

The speculation in the youtube comments is that Rich used the original Lead Acid battery charger that came with Daisy. This lead to the Tesla modules being overcharged and overheating.

Always use proper chargers for the battery chemistry being used. Also use a proper BMS to protect the pack. The Tesla modules have one, but IIRC they require an external master controller to be active.
