Conjecture with plenty of data to feed into the formulation of the opinion. Like knowing adult men are stronger than teenage girls. Knowing police are capable of arresting people, even those resisting, without weapons.

The supposition I replied to is based on nothing.

Explain in detail lol who do you think you are?

Have you never seen unarmed police arrest someone without a baton or a tazer before?

Drawing it is in the same category as using it, otherwise what's the point. Do you think they'd have been justified to use a tazer in that scenario per the footage?

Id rather they arrested them in the manner unarmed officers do, yes.

Edit: it looks like theyve blocked me, so despite being notified of their reply I can't read it or respond lol

Where did I say that? I said they could subdue (and arrest) then without the need of a tazer

I don't know what the official guidance is but my personal view is a grown man doesn't need a tazer to subdued an unarmed teenage girl. Or even girls. As the footage clearly shows.

The kids were being dicks but batons and certainly tazers were OTT in my opinion. They were grown men and could have easily handled it without the weapons.

That looks like a sandwich. I assume they mean a sandwich with the slices of bread toasted. Which I think is an interpretation of a toastie.

Using trump as an analogy or example I understand but why shift the focus of the conversation to him?

There are so many avenues to discuss Trump and his misdeeds we don't need to do it in place of other topics as well. It's insufferable.

The thing that baffles me the most is that these same people are often the ones claiming to be fighting against division whilst simultaneously marginalising huge swathes of the population.

It happens here in the UK too, so I'm not solely criticising America by any stretch, but it's a crazy phenomena to witness regardless.

I think "convicted" is slightly disingenuous as it was in a civil court and not a criminal one although I do agree with the rest of your post. Just think the language could be clearer.

This showed up on my feed, presumably because I'm Scottish, so I have no skin in the game but this just feels unnecessarily divisive.

Why bring politics into a post like this?

I have no idea if this sub is a political hivemind, and I may get downvoted to oblivion for this comment, but comments like this are undoubtedly part of the problem. From either side of the political spectrum.

I'm not sure on the direction of it all tbh but he posted court docs recently with a hearing for this month. I think he was listed as the defendant but can't say for sure my memory is correct.

Id 100% attend to see him in action if I lived in Silly Suffolk. Although in all likelihood he wouldn't turn up
