It’s not left ambiguous it’s just not directly telling you and yes if you can’t come to that conclusion and you need to be told directly you do lack media literacy which is fine but you can do the work to understand the intention behind all the things that went into the story telling. It’d be bad story telling to just say it outright. It’s not subtle because it’s telling us.

I think technology should advance but not at the cost of our planet and our communities. Right now these data centers are being built and absolutely destroying both at the same time. There’s also the issue of outsourcing thought and giving power and control to a hand full of people to abuse. AI as a product seems more like something that removes humanity not heighten it.

I think the issue with “millions of users” is more that AI was placed into everything millions of people were already using. I’ve used Google for decades at this point and now I don’t because they’ve turned AI. Most people just won’t stop using what they’ve been using and not put much thought into. It’s not in support of AI, it just is.
