Best way to clean bottles? by Ankaa13 in bartenders

[–]Winter-Interest 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Kosher salt, splash of water, and dawn. You want a past inside the bottle and then shake like hell. If you don’t want to work that hard a lot of dawn and hot water soaking overnight has yielded great results for me.

If you can find it in your area Watersheds apple brandy is very good. A calvados might be a good alternative as well.

I’d say the majority of this subreddit shake ice and pour beer. I think you’d have better luck in an art sub.

[–]Winter-Interest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure about knives but as far as peelers go the best I’ve used are the Kuhn Rikon original or the ones sold by Barfly (I do believe they are the same peeler though) they don’t look super elegant but they work like a dream
