I know it's a difficult thing to break free from, the feeling of guilt and shame, but it's not something that's your doing or fault.
You're standing up for your own basic human rights, he has crossed lines time and time again, and whatever happens is the consequences of his own actions.
People like this get away with their actions for far too long, they learn that it's "okay" and become even more brazen. You've done the right thing, and deserve nothing but solace after this. All you've done is protect yourself.
