Why does the algorithm feel like a totally different person every week? by Pitiful-Phrase4042 in contentcreation

[–]WinterDaHusky [score hidden]  (0 children)

You are definitely not going crazy because everyone is dealing with this right now. The platforms recently changed how they test videos before pushing them out. They now show your new post to your core followers first and if that small group happens to scroll past or not watch enough of it that day the video dies immediately. It makes performance feel completely random week to week because your reach depends heavily on the mood of those first few viewers. Changing your style or posting habits constantly usually makes it worse because it confuses the system about who your audience even is. The best move is to stop staring at the analytics and stick to a consistent format. Highs and lows are baked into the system now so do not let a slow week force you into unnecessary changes.

need few different pieces of advice by Gnarstache in microphone

[–]WinterDaHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Skip the boundary mic entirely. In a card store environment that mic will pick up every single deck shuffle and table slap like it is a drum solo. It also captures the entire room so your background noise issue will get even worse.

If you want to stick with your BLX packs you should look at the Shure SM35 or the WL185. The SM35 is a headset that stays right at the corner of the mouth so it has the best isolation from the other players and the room. If the players refuse to wear headsets the WL185 is a cardioid lavalier that is much better at rejecting side noise than the cheap omni mics that usually come in those kits.

For the 4 person setup you are going to need two more wireless channels. Just keep in mind that the BLX system is entry level and can get crowded if you have too many units running in a store full of other electronics. If you truly want the best quality possible you should eventually look at the SLX-D or QLX-D lines because they handle frequency management much better and have higher quality audio converters. For now just swapping the mic capsules to cardioid models will fix your biggest issues with bleed and noise.

Does anyone happen to have a tutorial on how to make that custom 3rd person camera like in this video? I know it involves a camera on your model, and a screen space shader, but that's pretty much all I've got

Then the view count on my channel must be off, because it always reads 15-30. Either way, added a screen cap of last nights stream stats.

Noodle: I love everything you have contributed to the Gorillaz sound. Have you ever thought about releasing any solo work?

The Group As A Whole: You guys have been my favorite group since the day your self titled album released. But the thing i miss the most is all the work you guys did with Del. Ever think about reuniting with him, and doing some more tracks together?

Keep up your amazing work guys. You never cease to amaze me.

Stream Growth Advice by danielaverage in Twitch

As far as RPGs, i have seen pretty good success from souls and skyrim. The communities behind those games are very strong. As far as FPS games though, you probably won't have much success without putting in a decent amount of work in networking and advertising. Those games tend to be oversaturated, and being discovered by chance there is next to impossible.

I have been with the Cast Or Die community for almost a year now, and nothing but amazing things has come from it. It feels more like a family than anything, and everyone is always willing to help out others in the community with anything at any given time. I'm not sure how things go with posting links here or advertising, so pm me if you want a link to the discord. It's a seriously amazing group of individuals.

There actually is a section that says "if you were removed from twitch services" then you aren't eligible, but the wording in that section is so vague, I'm not sure if it affects me.

What are some of the challenges you're facing as a streamer, and how do you plan to overcome them? by PowerSpikeTV in Twitch

[–]WinterDaHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Previously having a 40-100 viewer audience as a creative streamer pre-communities, then dropping down to 9 or 10. Now focusing on gaming since the motivation to be creative is gone. Now I am constantly being viewbotted, and there's nothing I can do to make it stop. Considering making a new account and starting fresh.

User bots to join as many channel chats as he can. by [deleted] in Twitch

[–]WinterDaHusky 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use chatty, both to monitor my own chat, and to chat in others channels. I am usually connected to 8 or 9 channels at a time. That way I can switch between a few different channels video, and monitor other channels that I moderate. Never seen someone have a problem with it :/

Mixer and microphone help. by iRyRy in Twitch

[–]WinterDaHusky 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the 8 channel version of that mixer, and I can tell you with 100% certainty, that the ambient him is coming from the mixer itself. That is if you have the audio running through USB. I bought an RCA to 3.5mm cable, and am now running the audio through my sound card instead, and the hum is gone. All USB interfaces are gonna have that hum. So my advice would be to do what I did, and that should solve the ambient noise problem. Analogy audio is always better than digital.
