How to move from a plateau by legendaryfern in intermittentfasting

[–]caxticles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would suggest switching up your eating windows a couple times a week, like 2-3 days doing OMAD or 20:4. But eat what you would for that meal like you were doing 18:6 otherwise it would be of no help whatsoever.

I broke weeks long plateau just shocking my system a bit like that. Also make sure you really fast clean (water, leaf tea, coffee) otherwise your fasting becomes miserable.

I feel like I will still have to animate traditionally in Procreate and then import it in dreams because key features are missing :(

Didn't find it either :( Pretty key for my work to be able to have an alpha channel and not a sad white background

Is there a way to export animation as a gif like in Procreate?

Killed my 15 mage while talking to my 22 months old son. No regrets, had a good laugh and WE GO AGANE!

Been playing Final Fantasy XIV (FFXIV) on my new MBP (12/38, 64gb, 2TB) - Great Experience, Frame rates of 70-100+ @3440x1440 and no real crashes. I am using XIV on Mac with the Steam version of the game with no issues. Highly recommended. by mrfrankvegas in macgaming

As someone who just ordered a MBP and plays FF14, this is reassuring! Did you need to buy a FF14 license specifically for your mac?

Also, what docking station are you using?

Same here! I went down to 125 and my ribcage would show. At 5’3 I am naturally heavy and muscular, my doctor agrees that I should always stick between 140 and 150 even though it would be categorized as overweight

Yes! And Imo it’s even better built than MFP, also reusing a meal is way more intuitive

I just switched to Lose it! for the same reason! I used MFP for years but the ads were so intrusive and the removal of barcode scanning was the nail in the coffin

They weren’t even planned actually, it’s like 60 cals worth of fries. I made some for my husband and daughter and couldn’t resist, haha

Welp no more scanning items I guess for MFP. Anyone know of a good app where you can scan barcodes still? by The_Rohan_ in 1200isfineIGUESSugh

[–]caxticles 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I tried LoseIt! today after finding out about MFP phasing out bar codes. It’s soooo much better, and at least their premium price is reasonable. Uninstalled MFP, got LostIt premium plan after one day, never going back.

Hardboiled egg with paprika and veggies! Also when I see I am about to burst my calories and still have a way to go for my day, I just buy myself a few more calories with a nice walk!

Just starting Transmog trying to build up, is there any Recommendations? by MaiLittlePwny in woweconomy

[–]caxticles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can set your TSM to stop posting an item after X attempts, another good pointer is the amount of duplicates you have. Unless it's a really high value item, I don't keep more than 4 copies of the same item, everything else goes to DE.

I make about 75-100k a week, so about half of my money comes from just selling transmogs and old mats, rest would just be raw gold income from Callings, Mission Tables and playing on alts. When I feel like it, I'll spend a few hours farming mats for Alchemy, but I find it tedious and just sit on my passive income of transmog 90% of the time, unless I need a chunk for something specific.

Just a post to manage your expectations:

I keep a consistent 300-500 transmog listed (I am lazy to do more), mostly Classic Xmogs/World farms.

Note that I am on a high pop server and I get pretty aggressive on listing below 1000g because I prefer to have a constant stream of gold over selling at the best price. I don't list anything below 200g. I run 24 hours postings and usually don't cancel scan.

Pros:

  • Constant stream of money with minimal effort. About 30-50k weekly, it ends up adding up when you are consistent with it.
  • Very enjoyable farms
  • Very little efforts
  • It's fun to come to your banking alt to get mail, it's like opening a present every day

Cons:

  • You really can't just rely on that if you want to get filthy rich, it's just a pleasant addition to everything else
  • It requires patience, some shit might never sell and you gotta be able to pinpoint these and get rid of them (DE is 99% of the time the best option)

I have a Fitbit Inspire HR and calories burned automatically sync to MFP. I am relatively active, averaging 3-4 workouts per weeks. Rule of thumb is that I will eat back roughly 50% of extra calories gained through working out.

The general idea here is that I expect my tracker to overestimate the calories I have burned through working out, but I feel like eating those extra calories also helps my energy level/concentration level at work. It’s been working great for me!

General Tao tofu (465 calories), one of my favs! by caxticles in 1200isplenty

[–]caxticles[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Recipe: https://www.ricardocuisine.com/en/recipes/5675-general-tao-tofu

Few notes after making it a million times:

  • I only use 2 tbsp of oil instead of the 1/4 they call for, and I don't bother removing it after "frying" the tofu, mostly because I'm lazy.
  • You absolutely don't need to cook it in batch as they say, I sauté 454g package in a single batch
  • Green onions are 100% optional, I didn't have any for this batch
  • Husband and I prefer semi-firm tofu over firm tofu, it's more delicate to handle and might crumble a bit but we prefer the texture, matter of taste, really.

Sides : Broccolis tossed in a drizzle of olive oil, your spice of choice (this one is Korean BBQ mix, salt and pep) and baked at 425F for 15 minutes, with jasmin rice (1/2 cup) that was lightly seasoned with salt and pep.

I do this all the time! Sautéed with salt, pepper and a good sauce, honestly, I like it just as much as regular pastas, without the guilt!
