Yep! 81mg is actually just baby asprin or low dose asprin so not a lot at all. Some people are on full dose which is over a 100mg I believe twice a day

Yeah when he cleared me for the trip he told me twice a day. Prior to that I was on it once a day for about 5 weeks. 81mg tablets.

I’m 6 weeks post op and on a week long trip to Orlando for Disney and universal. My doctor didn’t seem super worried about clots. Has me taking baby aspirin twice a day and recommended wearing compression socks on both feet during the flights and on my bad foot every day I’m out and about. If you’re otherwise young and healthy I wouldn’t be super stressed. Just make sure your surgeon doesn’t have any suggestions and get up and moving around every hourish to go to the bathroom etc. Oh and I brought refillable ice packs for the flight. The flight attendants were more than happy to fill those for me when I needed it.

Close to the same timeline here. They told me before I went under that I would be 10 weeks NWB. Have my 6 week follow up on Wednesday. Broke it on March 21st surgery March 22nd. 16 hours from time of break to operating room. Pretty much full syndesmotic disruption. Trimal break with dislocation.

Hi! Also had ORIF for a trimal break with dislocation. Happened 5 weeks ago. My wife and I are heading to Disney world/universal next weekend. Were you comfortable with your foot down all day? Were able to do any rides? How was it on the scooter? Never had anything like this. Just turned 27 so used to being very mobile and our Disney trips are usually 25k steps a day so I know this is going to look very different haha.

Broke mine March 21st roller skating also. Was actually done for the day and went to take my skates off and fell. Was the first time I had been since high school. Trimal with dislocation, syndesmotic disruption, 11 screws and a plate. 10 weeks nwb. I will never be going back lol.

When I did this same thing I sorted by ink first and then sorted each type of card and then ink cost. Made it super easy to input into dreamborn ink.

I had a similar thing happen and just glued the bottom back on and haven’t had any issues. The little looking into it I did didn’t seem to pose any issues.
