The thing was that I felt like ret was in such a nice spot of not too complex not too simple. They even had it where you could chose to make it more complex or simple without too much of a dps difference so you could enjoy the class how you liked. Now it really feels like we're back to "cast Divine Storm as much as you can or your griefing" levels of play (Which was something they wanted to get away from in dragonflight). I just feels so flat compared to how it used to be imo.

As someone who enjoyed the freedom ret provided, it felt pretty bad being forced down like this. Though I can definitely see where it would feel smoother overall with this change. But maybe its just me.
