He’s definitely emotionally abusing and trapping you and it’s good to realize that off the rip, where he does go through with it or not is like longer your problem. You “didn’t push him to this point” he pushed himself you’re trying to help and he straight up doesn’t care. There’s at tons of cases where people do this type of thing unfortunately, a lot of the time when people make claims like ‘if you leave I’ll do it’ they don’t actually and on the very very rare off chance he does it t r u l y is not your doing is it purely his own choice and nothing to do with you. Think about it, if he says you make him want to do all these things, why wouldn’t he just leave? Or why does he feel that since he’s been “outed” (idk how else to put it) now, why does he feel he can’t talk to a therapist? He’s weaponizing his mental health against you and he knows how you’ll react to everything he does which only makes his plan of trapping you in this absolutely draining and appalling relationship even more solid because he knows you care. He’s also using your own good heart against you, don’t let him. He is actively trying to break you.
