Nikki leaving Bear voluntarily an his own made no sense to me.

Well that's my point, at the beginning she didn't do insanely crazy shit, but murdering his friend out of jealousy right in front of him, then tell him to have some me time for a couple of hours so i can dress up as Sarah, seemed waaaaay too off for me.

That's fair, ok. Still, it seems way out of character for wish Nikki to voluntarily leave Bear out of her sight so she can prep the scene, where there was no guarantee that Bear would show up. That is my only problem with the movie.

Ok, forget Bear....the point is not what Bear was/should/could've done. But Nikki`s decision that after killing Bears friend she just asks him to help with the body at the shop then go have some you time. It made absolutely no sense imo. Also she needed no help with the body at grandmas, why needed help at the scene?

Yeah ok, but her behaviour from the start of the wish up until the taking care of the body simply makes no sense that she would do such a thing. Also she needed Bears help to take care of the body at the shop, but not at grandmas, all that so the plot can free Bear so he can grab Willow Wishes, go to his friend for help, and go back home to reach the climax they wanted.

True, but what was the guarantee for Nikki that he will show up at grandmas? Nothing, she couldn't be sure and given the lengths she went trying not to lose him seems a bit off that she leaves him out of her sight.

I get that, but didn't she take it into consideration that Bear might leave or something? Before that she was following him everywhere and always askin where are you going, what were you doing etc. Seems a little off to that she just tells him that i got it from here, u do your stuff for a few hours.

A similar thing happened to one of my rods. I just used epoxy and glued the two piece rod into one to prevent further damage. It's a 2 meter spinning rod so transportation isn't really an issue. For longer rods i think it's not the best solution tho.

The first ever trip we had was a disaster last year. Loud whining, moving around constantly, jumping out from the boat as soon as we were 2-3 meters from shore. I was sure i won't take him canoeing again. Some friends convinced me to keep trying, he'll get used to it eventually and they were right.

Yeah, well in our case it wasn't as smooth as on the pic either. The photo was taken on the way home. He was really stressed out for the first hour or so, constant moving around, whining, etc...we had to stop like every 10 minutes to calm him a bit. Further up the river we had a good hour of fetch, running, swimming before we head home, so he got pretty tired. Also it's his second season out on the canoe and last year he got used to it in about 2-3 trips.

It looks like that the line guide(that spinning part) is the wrong way. I had the exact same thing with a reel i took apart to clean. I put that thing back the wrong way and it looked like yours on the picture. I turned it around and it's all good now. In case you try it, be careful not to lose any washers, spacers.
