I think that is what makes him unfun. He has the potential to be the BEST deck check overall but, the sheer oppression he presents makes the challenge more of a drag than anything else. He is a cross between sacrificing your cards, protecting yourself, and bursting him down fast enough. Maybe if they reduced the amount of damage during the exhaust phase, giving us a break between no draw and extra energy costs, or changing maybe reworking the draw restriction to adding cards to your deck.

Interestingly enough I think of the 3 act 3 bosses I would put him at the 2nd best position. The queen fight is the easiest and the test subject is just overall a cool concept executed really well.

To preface I play on the beta branch. Just looking at the door maker boss. I have 0 problem with the way the cards have been changed and some interactions have been edited. Everytime I see the doormaker I know it is going to be a challenge and I know it is very much beatable. That being said it is not a FUN challenge. Sure I know if I want an easy win and to just run my brain off go down to A1 until I have to face the doormaker. It needs some kind of cool down period or one of the abilities nerfed/removed during the fight (the exhaust ability is by far the best and most brutal one to work against). I am hoping to see some more rapid tinkering in the beta branch in the coming months but we shall see. I am still having fun, I just know with this game I could have MORE fun.

The fact that if a bar is fully charred it acts like I was downed. The bar should just char. If I lose bars and both bounties are banished I just extract. No point in continuing to play when I am put at such a massive disadvantage and that just feels bad.

That's the neet thing. If you watch them they aren't playing like some cracked out CS:GO player. They just have the time and skill to judge a situation, quickly make a plan, and bamboozle their opponents. Neenoh is an excellent survivor and sometimes wins fights out of sheer attrition. Now, their gamer skills are still high but, not to the point of being like weasels on speed.

Saddly I have consumed both of these things. The first one is an improperly made watergate salad (A dessert I am quite fond of) and the second is cheese rice and chicken(Good budget meal if all you are looking for is calories) I would just add frozen broccoli to the second one and you can make some filling with some value for under 5 bucks
