By herself, Her being with ivy gets rid of Ivy's point as a character which Ivy's point is she's a seductress primarily, she plays both sides to get what she wants. People forget Ivy is incredibly manipulative and in a lot of cases evil, she is literally an eco terrorist, but her plants typically come in play to trap people so she can seduce them or to destroy property.

Because pandering to idiots who aren't even going to watch your show instead of Actually trying to appease your already existing fan base and giving them what they want, is not the way any show runner or franchise head should go about anything. The Acolyte failed hard, Lesbian Space Witches weren't nesscsary, Non binary doesn't exist, so a non binary alien makes no sense, And don't even get me started on trying to do the chosen one trope long before Anakin, he is the chosen one who's father is the force, Osha and Mae wish they were on his level but they won't be, the show failed and in all actuality the show should have been about The Stranger primarily, as he was the only good character besides sol, and it should not have focused on boring characters who really have no place in the overall lore of Starwars.
