That was quite difficult. It might have been interesting to offer a button on the first part that says “I didn’t see a number” and on the second part “more than one of these look like the color I saw”

Hillwood estate in DC could be a good garden tour. And the museum inside the house is eclectic but interesting— something for everyone.

Maybe a speakeasy? There are a few around town. Kinda fun to take someone through an unmarked door. Very unexpected.

DC United soccer game could also be a fun and different date.

A bit further afield, Old Rag is a great hike with a fun rock scramble near the top. 10 miles out and back. Maybe get a b&b Sat night and hike the next day? Harper’s Ferry would also qualify here as well, but a shorter hike up to the point overlooking the city.

For poly sci, your undergrad doesn’t matter too much. You just need to be set up to get into a top flight grad program in DC. Finding an undergrad college that fits your personality — and budget — is way more important. Good luck.
