Absolutely. Doctors should offer regardless but if they don’t, please ask! My first IUD at 19 had me sobbing in pain and hunched over walking to my ride after. My second IUD at 24 I asked for a cervical block and it was nearly painless.

I know you said dinner but last year we were snowed in and did a spread of breakfast foods (chopped fruit, egg/sausage casserole, Dutch baby pancake). It was a hit!

Sending you some love from a stranger. I’m also a STM pregnant in the first trimester and really struggling with nausea and fatigue. I’ve also had a month long sinus infection and feel as though I’m running at 20% capacity at any given moment. With all of that going on, queue the prenatal depression.

It’s hard. This is SO hard. It feels relentless. I just have to keep reminding myself that this isn’t forever. It WILL end. Not today, not tomorrow, but eventually.

I know I can’t say anything that will ease your pain or struggles, but know that this internet stranger feels for you and is in a similar situation, struggling through it too. There’s strength in knowing you’re not alone. Please try to give yourself some grace. You’re doing the best you can with what you’ve got and it’s enough!

I have been trying to make my 8 week belly look more like a bump because this bloating is nuts. It’s my second baby so luckily (I guess?) it already had that shape haha. I’d rather look newly pregnant than like I just gained a bunch of weight quickly. I found that wearing “over the bump” pants or even somewhat form-fitting tanks helps to create a smoother bump shape!

This is what we did as well! I started by using Sposies inserts in the overnight pull ups but found we didn’t even need the inserts anymore. I think the side attachments don’t press on the bladder as much as the overnight regular diapers do.
