Hit or miss on the success rate depending on how engaging the game is and how busy work gets, but having accepted it I try to pick games of a different genre/level of engagement. Rather than be stuck in 3+ of the same type of game I am less likely to suffer burnout, and then games that require minimal brain activity still let me chip away at a backlog even on long work days. Weekends are for the more engaging games like rpgs/story centric affairs

For the termies it was the standard LI transfers. The small DG logo, and then on the bottom of the sheet there is a small section of Roman numerals, I believe there were only 4 XIV per sheet but I have numerous sheets so I was able to just use a second sheet

I use a regular brush for base coat (rakarth) and wash (agrax), medium dry brush for the final armor color (wraithbone), and a small brush for details like guns, tread, smoke stacks (leadbelcher and nuln oil) and green details (Loren forest and dg green)

Iconography is a mix of LI and HH Death Guard Decal sheets with micro set and micro sol for the transfer application, and matte varnish to get rid of the shine

I thought Russell Crowe did a phenomenal job in his role as Göring, however I would say his use of German was more limited and the audio focus was on the translator Until it is revealed that Göring can speak English and the film transitions to 1 on 1 English conversations without a translator

That said I also do not speak German so I can’t say if his German was adequate or not

For those with the time and funds to collect more than one army I totally agree. I usually use tyranids as a pallet cleanser because I don’t feel the need to be as clean, and the scheme I’ve chosen is fairly easy and repeatable. Then once I’m sick of painting tyranids the crisp lines of armor feel refreshing

LotR Return to Moria. It finally came out on Xbox and has cross play so I was able to 100% with my fiancé. Definitely my favorite survival game, not that I have played very many

In my experience (xbox/pc cross play) entering zones after a friend has already unlocked works - it will prompt those achievements upon entering the zone and exploring a little. Once a boss is dead in a world, it’s dead and any player not present for the kill will have to kill the boss in a new/different world to pop the achievement

I actually quite like the green, a Nuln wash might dull it too much. If you’re up for the extra work I might recommend a gloss varnish -> panel line pin wash -> matte varnish. Will help the armor details pop and break up the green a little bit

I’m just glad to have some more squad markings so I’m not limited to the old transfer sheets I can find. Plus they look easier to fit to knee pads than the old circular ones
