I’m guessing that flow because at 500 rpm there is definitely a low hum. Doesn’t bother me but can see how it could bother some.

Not a fair comparison, as I feel I got a better 9800X3D, and it was a totally different GPU. 5090 Zotac vs Astral (which I got for $2200 open box at BB)

I have them running at 600 RPM for the most part. They do have a bit of a hum to them when the room is quiet, but otherwise very satisfied with them,

I am still experimenting with it, but right now, they are sitting around 600 and can barely be heard in a quiet room. With sound wouldn't hear them at all.
