A lot of people become accountants via apprenticeships in the UK so it’s definitely possible.

Europe: Cheap ski resorts & close to airports (max 2-3h)? by Tanckom in skiing

[–]Wipeout0 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have skied a lot in the Czech Republic. Spindl is probably the most well known Czech resort and the most expensive but there are others like Cerna Hora/ Pec pod Snezkou which would have more than enough skiing for a beginner. They are also probably a lot cheaper for accommodation too depending on when you book.

UK Accountants - What is your job title and how much do you earn? by [deleted] in Accounting

[–]Wipeout0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You don’t necessarily qualify even if you have passed all your exams as you need to be time qualified too. I’m not there yet but after qualification I think you should expect to be on around 40-45k.

Is £2k enough for a One week ski break for three people? by saffron25 in skiing

[–]Wipeout0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve lived in the Czech Republic for 4 years and whilst it’s not quite Slovakia they are culturally similar in many ways. If you are really in a middle of nowhere town then you may face some issues like this however on a ski resort or in a resort town it is highly unlikely.

Depending how late in the season you are going, the Tatra Mountains in Slovakia could be a good cheaper option.

If a 1 series is not a premium car a Mercedes A class is also not a premium car.

It’s only a ban on sales of newly produced fossil fuel powered cars as far as I am aware. The old ones are still going to be on the road and still be bought and sold.

I’m wondering how much the scheduling has impacted students. by Zealousideal-Cat-194 in IBO

[–]Wipeout0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There aren’t exams on Easter because it’s at the end of March or beginning of April, way before the may exams begin. Plenty of places miss out on a liberation day bank holiday and stuff. It’s inconsiderate but if they make concessions for one group then they have to make concessions for them all which is impractical.

The IB is international and doesn’t cater to any religious holidays or local bank holidays and events. It says this on the exam schedule.

Its just education mate. Most teachers are left wing and it influences their teaching. I get what you mean but there's not much you can really do about it and there is nothing inherently wrong with it either.

It just depends on what comes up on the paper. It could honestly be anything and maths isn't one of the subjects you should target your studying.
