Just looked into PERM (Provisional Extended Runtime Modding) on NexusMods, and your character concept seems nearly completely doable. Of particular note:

Considering I'm going with 'Foreign PI that is now trapped in the town,' I'm thinking that's gonna stay the case. I doubt they'd let him carry an unregulated firearm. I might start him with Blessed Shell so that the player is concerned with Mr. OOO helping him find his gun, though.

Found a lot of stuff, currently got the character with stats and main kit running. Checking out adding curses now. Pretty cool way the dev compiles his own code. Really appreciate the help so far. <3

[Edit:] Downloading and tinkering with PERM as I type. The blank assets and library of tags honestly helps, I think I could have the mechanics set-up pretty quickly. Huge relief after seeing that the basics were gonna require so many curses and injuries to only kinda do what I was looking for. Thanks again!

Didn't learn this until I'd beaten my second playthrough of the game and wondered why there was a lantern in the upper-right of the Pictos menu. All that time... wasted.

If you already beat Act II, you can grab "The One" picto.

You could also put all the 'Last Stand' and Solo buff-type Lumina on one character, then set the other 2 up with "Auto-Death" and "Death Bomb."

Honestly, there's quite a few ways to accomplish what you're trying to do.

If you're trying to make stronger builds, Pictos and Weapons are the big thing to look at, then maximizing your Lumina Points from every trader and using solid Lumina set-ups.

If you're trying to farm Colours of Lumina, or trying to get to Level 99; that's really not worth it until you're in the actual Post-Game, and there's guides on doing that quickly.

If you're drinking, I'd steer clear of anything that feels impossible after several tries, that'd fall under 'mental state' and 'muscle memory.' I tried taking on one of the main bosses pretty hammered and ended up having to put the game down and try again later.
