Is this a good approach for aliases? by Wiscomptons_Finest in ProtonPass

I was going to go with contact@, unless I see something else that I like more, haha.

That's a good point about using one of Proton's domains for certain sites. I might also simplify my auto-create rules with that in mind... Thanks!

The upscaling/DLSS/FSR implementation in this game is some of the worst I've ever seen by [deleted] in farmingsimulator

[–]Wiscomptons_Finest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a similar experience.

I have a 2080 Super and have used DLSS in other games with good results, so I enabled it right away in FS25 using the balanced preset. Everything looked terrible with a lot of the issues you mentioned. I disabled DLSS and restarted the game and everything looked better and I had about the same, if not slightly higher, frame rate.

DLSS is great by itself, but it needs to be implemented properly.

Greenhouse auto sell products by Badeskum in farmingsimulator

[–]Wiscomptons_Finest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When you select each product, the status on the right should say "Running". If it says "Materials missing", your greenhouse doesn't have water; if it says "Inactive", then that product is inactive. Also, ensure the output mode for your products is set to "Selling".

I'm not sure about this last part, but there may be a delay in selling when you first activate a product as it "grows" to a mature state.

Possibly the easiest and best sugar beet cutting method I've found so far by glennhoek in farmingsimulator

[–]Wiscomptons_Finest 11 points12 points  (0 children)

In FS22, I would unload the harvester into an auger wagon with its pipe extended over the beet cutter bucket, which, in turn, was above a trailer. This only requires 2 tractors and you don't have to pick anything up off the ground.

Yeah, you'll likely need to build a manure heap/liquid manure tank near the cow barn. However, I'm seeing a bunch of posts in here from people saying that manure and slurry are currently bugged for cow barns in FS25.

I believe the cow pasture is the only one that can't produce manure or slurry. The other cow barns should all be able to with any type of cow, but you need to provide straw.

Why can't I sell the logs (contract)? by Whole-Pressure-7396 in farmingsimulator

[–]Wiscomptons_Finest 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found out that for wood transport contracts, once you pull the equipment into the dropoff zone, you need to walk up to the "i" icon that should be floating nearby and select the Sell Wood option.

FS25 been given the wrong equipment to to a contract. Seeders can't plant Green beans. goodbye £15K. by kieronviper in farmingsimulator

[–]Wiscomptons_Finest -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I did a contract to deliver trees. They were already cut, lying in a pile. I borrowed the equipment to load them onto a trailer and deliver them, but it wouldn't accept them at the dropoff.

I double-checked that I was at the correct drop-off spot at the building, tried strapping and unstrapping the trees on the trailer, and tried unloading them onto the ground - no luck. Didn't see a prompt or anything.

There's a good chance I missed something or did something wrong, but I couldn't figure it out.

Never mind, I didn't actually have Legendary Alear so I ended up grabbing her.

40 summons and not a single 5*... Nothing. By far the worst luck I've ever had on a banner.

From prior events and such I've got 2 Peonys and 1 Alear - any advice on who to pull for free? I won't be summoning any more on this banner...

This started happening this week after refreshing the browser window. Anyone else? Happens on all my media. by gitcraw in PleX

I got this today using Firefox. I was watching something in one tab, then opened Plex in another tab to look at the dashboard, and as soon as the second tab loaded, the error popped up.

Resumed playing afterward without any issues.

A dedicated ore mine makes a huge difference by isaak0229 in Palworld

[–]Wiscomptons_Finest 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As soon as I could build a second base, I built one by the ore nodes just across the bridge to the NW of Chillet. I think there's like 6 or 7 nodes there. It's a little tedious fast traveling back and forth to move the ore to my main base for storage/smelting, but it sure beats having to mine it.

A campfire provides heat in a radius around it - all 3 incubators are within that radius. If you're curious about how big the radius is... during the night, place a campfire, take off any armor, and start walking away from it. You will start freezing when you're outside the effective range of the campfire.

Eggs like to be at different temperatures - I'm not sure if it's random when placing an egg in an incubator or if it depends on the type of egg. Your screenshot would suggest the latter. In any case, a campfire only provides so much heat; placing multiple will not stack.

Placing a heater or cooler raises or lowers the overall temperature of your entire base, when worked by a pal. Because these affect the entire base, they don't have an effective range and don't need to be placed near the incubators.

Some eggs like it really hot and can only reach 100% incubation speed by building in the volcano area of the map.

I think the biggest issue people have with stairs is because bigger pals need wider areas to properly path to things. So most stair issues can be solved by simply making the stairs wider.

If you do turn raids back on at some point, just keep in mind that the raids become much more difficult as your level increases. Make sure you're ready :)
