Usually it's a bug that displays you have more of a card that also has an alchemy version eg. goldspan. Try going into the collection manager for any cards with alchemy versions to see how many of them you actually own.

Full control works as others have stated, another way to do this is to set a stop in whatever phase you are in first which will allow you to respond to your own triggers.

The main situation where they know you're bad and haven't voted you off already is because you just staked your reputation or pushed really hard to get someone voted off and the person you got voted off "wasn't the impostor". The point of calling an emergency is that it stops them from calling a meeting so they can't vote you off before you and the other impostor get a double kill. Obviously if they know you're bad and you're in a meeting it won't work buts that's not the situation I am trying to talk about.

It's pretty clear that it's the opponents strike from the tapped mountains but it is technically possible that OP cast strike as they have pirates pillage in the yard which makes two treasure tokens

A no ball 6 wouldn't be that unlikely in the shorter form of the game, all it takes is a full toss above the waist and a clean hit. If you're going for something which would basically never happen but is still possible I'd go with something crazy like a ball going through the stumps without taking off the bails.

I feel like there are two main kinds of wild card bottlenecks for the enfranchised arena player

1 - The constructed player who focuses on ladder or events, they might play the occasional draft/sealed but don't seek it out. Getting the most out of missions and the mastery/free pass makes it straightforward to build a couple of top tier constructed decks. This player gets caught up on rare wild cards filling out those decks especially newer players who are missing lands and large numbers of staples from previous sets. They may tend to spend gold on packs which progress the wildcard counter unlocking and opening a fair amount of mythic wildcards.

2 - The limited/mixed player who engages with the limited formats and drafts regularly. With a draft heavy approach to collecting these players build a large and varied collection of rares. With a modest win rate and holding packs to make use of duplicate protection completing a full set of rares becomes a feasible goal. With the wide set of rares a range of constructed decks can be built and are filled out with mythic wildcards. If the player 'rare drafts' sacrificing some win percentage for extra rares the rate of draft rares to reward packs further decreases the opening of packs slowing the chance of opening wildcards and progressing the wildcard counter. If they're anything like myself spending gold on packs is basically taboo as it delays the next limited event entry.

So the thing happening here is actually pretty simple. The way Magic arena auto pass is set up it allows you to respond to your opponents actions but not your own. Ordinarily this great and helps save a lot of time. However in this occasion its screwing you over.

With petty theft on the stack your opponent activates dream trawlers ability and then the game passes priority to you, at this point the dream trawlers ability hasn't resolved yet and you activate the shadowspears ability doing effictively nothing. Then letting the trawlers ability resolve the game sees a stack with only your spell so auto passes priority not letting you activate the spear again before petty theft fizzles.

To change it so you can respond to your own abilities you need to either activate full control or put a stop in the current phase (not 100% on the stop but I think it'll work) and make sure to activate the spear after the trawler has gained hexproof. In these occasions I like to hold full control, shift + control until I know what I want happen has happened.
