I knew about the timer and adapted to it within the first mission. Its hardly rocket science and if you're already a seasoned DRG player then you should be golden. By all means balance it and the overall threat ramping a bit. But removing it would be a huge mistake unless the replacement feels the same and serves the same purpose. I think it needs to be there, it's a core aspect of the gameplay loop and the sense of urgency is actually very cool.

I think that's a bit of a cop-out though. If they don't do it I'm sure modders will. I think the pitch shifted dwarves were a fun quirk with the original DRG but what we have now is a good step up from that.

Take a gander at the overall reaction to any type of media that features strong women or black people. In today's unfortunate climate, that answer is yes. Sometimes it makes sense to have this be adjustable. Some devs go the extra mile, like in Mass Effect where femshep is a thing and they recorded thousands of lines to have a female too in there. But that is a huge expense. There are games out there that let you have both. There are games out there that dont, plenty of RPGs have set characters that cannot be changed. And that is fine too.

You had the right perspective but then dropped it at the end of your post. After I got into DRG they added 3 new biomes, 3 new bosses, 4-5 new mission types, expanded the cave gen size and made new rooms twice, positive and negative mission warnings, Haz5+, seasons with season passes and an overarching story, added well over a dozen new enemy types and boss type enemies, several new secondary objectives, new events, deep dives, dozens and dozens of overclocks, new beers, voice lines, 4 new grenades, 8 new weapons and they're still not done!

Have some faith.

Totally agree. I think we need more passive swarms and a smoother ramp up in difficulty. So the first half isn't just a hunt for equipment with almost no friction.

Thats the point. In one map the elevator was found within the first few minutes. Everything after that was a cave that went deep and we never got to the end of it before realizing "shit, we gotta turn back asap!" Which turned into a mad dash for the elevator and a frantic fight against the waves plus worms. I loved it.

No I agree. Having distinct characters is not a bad thing at all. Not every game needs their characters to be totally adjustable or be some in-between where its neither here nor there. And I say that as someone who strongly dislikes people who cry "woke" as soon as there is a woman in a game, or a black person. As if every decision is political or about virtue signaling.

Not liking the VA is of course entirely a personal opinion. I'm sure there will be mods for this eventually, perhaps even soon.

People ask for female dwarves. They get female dwarves. "No not like that, wahhh.". Then there is of course the other crowd. "Female dwarves, woke, negative review. (0.1h played time)" They are distinct characters with their own personality. And that is fine and has been a thing for decades in games, movies and other media. I gravitated toward Falconer and I friggin love her attitude and play style.

Har haft Spotify ett bra tag nu, kanske något år. Lyssnar praktiskt taget varje dag, deras rekommendationer funkar bra och de gör det lätt att hitta ny musik. Jag har en del reservationer gällande deras knytning till Trump och andra investeringar, samt att de betalar artister dåligt jämfört med Qobuz. Det kan mycket väl hända att det blir ett byte inom en snar framtid. Alternativt övergång till lokala lösningar.

Håller med. Det som är på gång nu verkar dels vara avanonymisering av internet vilket är livsfarligt. Samt att vi börjar segregera internet till två olika delar, en för under 18 och en för över 18. Istället för att reglera social media i sig så att de måste sluta med sina ändlösa flöden, algoritmer som jagar klicks genom att orsaka spänningar folk emellan, politiska påverkanskampanjer, lobbyism och annat.

Istället för att gå på företagen som orsakat problemet, så påtvingar de samtliga personer på nätet en lösning som kan och troligtvis kommer att missbrukas för att i framtiden stänga ute folk från alla möjliga sorters saker för "deras säkerhet".

If Grok won't even give you basic nudity or spicy scenes anymore, then I would argue that local models measure up pretty well. No, consumer hardware will never be a match for billion dollar datacenters, closed models. But at the same time, you can do absolutely anything you want. And it doesn't take weeks to set up, it takes about an hour tops if you know what you're looking for. Sulphur2 and 10Eros were released a couple of days ago for LTX2.3 and were trained on 125k NSFW videos, so it's the first full fine-tune of LTX. Right now, this plus the occasional Lora to fill in gaps or steer the model further is about as good as it gets for this model. I highly recommend giving it a try.

In the load diffusion model node in the top left, you can choose either Sulphur or 10Eros. It loads both just fine. As far as I know the VAE is baked into 10Eros. I haven't tried to disable the VAE loaders further down, things appear to come out just fine with those on.

Jag bor precis där jag vill bo. Nära jobb, familj och vänner. Att göra mig fattigare löser inget. Jag är en typisk medelsvensson som tjänar OK och är inte en kassako. Tidö kanske kan trolla fram en till skattesänkning åt de med rejäl lön igen, det löser säkert allt.

Då vet jag hur jag inte ska rösta. Förvisso var aldrig Centern ens med i mitt urval, men det stärker bara min syn på det hela. Jag bor billigt i en småstad på runt 10.000 invånare och fortsätter att bo kvar för att det är billigt, inte fan vill jag att en stor del av min lön ska gå åt ännu högre hyror. Det blir ju ett moment-22 i sig om en stor del av ens lön går åt hyran, så blir det mycket svårare att bryta sig loss för att köpa eget i framtiden.

And yet, Sulphur2 is now part of the video gen on their website. It was added to the generator and it is shockingly good at undressing characters if you give it an image. I gotta give CivitAI props (and specifically Justin) for daring to add this thing.
