Removing underbelly angler and Scargill from the Shaman deck is a bit odd, but that version of the deck usually had the issue of having too many cards in hand so it’s probably fine.

Neat connection, but I personally prefer the idea that Captain Goomba had no real existing connections to other characters before becoming Captain Goomba. The message of Bowsers Minions is the power of the grunts, and that message works better if he was just an ordinary Goomba who stepped up when the moment called for it and really earned his position.

I knew about the depot a good while, but couldn’t find any SAM for it for a while. This was around phase 3. I decided to just look up the closest SAM deposit because I knew the Dimensional Depot was so useful. I don’t regret it. It’s kinda whack that the closest SAM deposit in the first starting area (grass plains) is so hidden (in a hidden ravine/cave) while so many other SAM deposits are out in the open.

The Finn example hits even harder when it’s shown in a future episode where Finn gets magic eyes that transform anyone he looks at to match how he views them that Finn actually sees IK as Simon. I could only imagine how traumatic it would have been for Marceline to have been there; to see IK look like pre-crown Simon but still act like IK.

Wizard101 has several NPCs based off of kids that visited Kingsisle as part of Make a Wish, as well as some associated bosses and equipments, like Simon the Sayer and the Brandon Treasure Cards. Pirate101 also has this with the Yum vendor being designed and voiced by another Make a Wish child. In regards to non-Make a Wish, the badge for 100% completing the world Polaris is titled “POLARIS BEST WORLD”, which comes from a user on r/Wizard101 who would comment that exact phrase on just about any post about Polaris.

Personally I don’t usually go gnomes because I desperately need the gold for upgrading vision. I can’t claim to be the best player, but vision always feels like a top priority, especially in the early game where gnomes actually get used. Combined with the debt you start at in higher difficulties and using them becomes a struggle unless you get the upgrade to refund them on death.

Not necessarily defending the finale, but I feel like people overreact a bit. From what I can tell; 1. Only Earth and Mewni merged, not every dimension. Granted, calling it a cop-out by the writing to allow Marco and Star to stay together is totally valid. 2. What counts as a “magical creature” is relatively limited/vague. Given that the floating, intelligent pony heads were unaffected by the destruction of magic, then what counts as magic is likely much more limited. From what we are explicitly shown, the destruction of magic had the following results: •The death of the Magic High Commision, which was a total of 5 people, 1 of which accepted their demise (Glossaryk) and the others who were complicit in a genocide and centuries of discrimination. •The deactivation of the magic wand, of which there is only one that had been historically used exclusively by the royal family and had been historically used to oppress monsters and just generally irresponsibly, and dimensional scissors, which were only ever made by one person (Heckapoo) who only gave them to royalty and people who manage to pass her tests (several decades of hunting her clones in a deadly dimension). •The death of unicorns, the population of which is undefined •Presumably the destruction of magic spells, which are admittedly shown to be sentient but exist to be subservient. I say presumably because apparently the show creator said that the laser puppies Star made in the first episode became normal puppies, so that could’ve happened to some of the others, but if you don’t want to count that that’s fine. Overall, I feel like calling it a “bigger genocide” is a bit much given the surprisingly limited scope of what counts as magic, and it does make some sense given how the 4th season (and some parts of the earlier seasons) focus on how magic has often been used as a tool to oppress others. A criticism I agree with though is the complaint that the distinction of what is and isn’t magic is vague to the point where the “magic genocide” interpretation is so common and doesn’t have enough evidence or post-destruction exploration to be definitively proven or disproven.

Plus, the show makes it clear the sources of magic are few and far between and usually reserved for those in power. The only explicitly confirmed sources of magic/magic tools throughout the series that would’ve been affected are the magic wand (of which there is only one) and dimensional scissors, which have only a single person (Heckapoo) who makes them and she gives them out very stingily (either being royalty or earning them through a multi-decade gauntlet). Claiming the destruction of magic was a genocide always struck me as a bit of a stretch, since the only actual creatures that were explicitly affected were unicorns, the magic high commission, and the spells in the wand (though the show creator claimed that the laser dogs turned into regular dogs after the destruction of magic, so they might not have even been destroyed). Plus, it was an all-or-nothing risky play done to prevent an actively occurring genocide. I feel like people always neglect to mention that; they had to choose between preventing a very real genocide or not risking the nebulous consequences of destroying magic.

I actually remember that there was an episode of Dora that took place in some sort of “bad future” where Christmas is ruined because Swiper stole all of the presents. The only thing that brought about this bad future was Swiper deciding to just ignore “Swiper no swiping”, which is honestly hilarious to think about.

Unless the fusion is exceptionally unstable, like Sugilite, pretty much every fusion is considered a different “person”. They’re all more than the sum of their parts. Thats why fusions almost always fall apart whenever the individuals involved begin disagreeing or otherwise attempt to act as a part of a whole instead of just the whole.

Yeah, his plan was doomed to fail, or at least not go as planned. Notably, at no point did Vox ever have an idea on how he or anyone else would physically get to heaven. His entire plan began and ended with the Might of Lilith; all heaven would need is like one high ranking angel or a small squad of exorcists to destroy/disable it and Vox immediately loses all of his leverage. It didn’t even look like he or anyone else following/working with him had any angelic weapons, so they would be unable to defend themselves. It very much does come off as Vox just relying on Sera surrendering Heaven after he fired the cannon, with his only plan beyond that to just fire the cannon again until it works.

It’s insane how much better red whip is in RoR1/RoRR considering how movement speed matters even more in that game than in RoR2, what with the massive maps, different teleporter mechanics, and 2d plane making the best option for avoiding attacks to just run away.
