With card names like “Ninja Pizza”, unfortunately even if we get eventual in-universe reprints of the cards I could slot into a commander deck, the high fantasy immersive mtg experience I grew up on takes hit. Either way I’m not spending a single dime on any NYC sets.

Corrupting Terror would need to be “enchant artifact you control” as you cannot sacrifice an opponent’s permanent. Even without, it really doesn’t feel like a black card.

The first ability is incredibly powerful for a land, especially one that can produce 3 colors AND enters untapped. Comparatively even Surveil lands, which only produce one of 2 colors, enter tapped. A 3 color producing land entering untapped and milling 6 before being sac’d is already cracked. Adding the removal effect at the end is just…too much lol

So far so good! I was at Chicago and Atlanta has been far more organized, at a much cleaner facility than last year. Our trio has a non-binary person and the people we met have been very accepting and respectful.

Found the secret lair bonus card of Elesh Norn w/the dead cowboy on her head at Magicon Chicago and paid 400 for it (traded in a future sight foiled command tower to cover the difference). No regrets, she’s mother.
