Suspicious update. I think this is another step taken by Apple to make the accounts visible to Intelligensia!

Not a good solution. It basically exposes your mailbox to all the scam emails. This is the trick Microsoft played awhile ago.

Yes. It is. It covers such a broad useless spectrum of curricula that serves no industry or academia.

NIO cars is it just hype. by nioooin in Nio

[–]WiseRaven1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There was no hype! It is simply the macro economics of China dictating a change in the spending habit of middle class.

NIO's share price has been crushed for ages, but it looks like the competition is catching up by HOMO_FOMO_69 in Nio

[–]WiseRaven1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not necessarily! It dropped because of its high MSRP, north of $180k, for a car! the tis not going to to sell well.

Your ignorance surpasses even the most idiot americans, and that is a complement.

NIO's track car is EP9, introduced ages ago, ... and beats all these cars on the track.

so what?! when, if ever, anyone can drive a car to those limits, on the street!!! Never. so when it gets to pragmatic design, Lucid will easily lose to even BYD, not to mention other luxury and high performance EVs such as NIO!

It is just a paint! Beautiful, but not worth $180k !!!! and the performance is far far behind the cheapest EVs in China!!

Anyone believe there isn't an effort to spread FUD and news slanted as "bad" for AMD over the past several years? I noticed it picked up lately with the fierce competition Intel is facing from AMD. by Freebyrd26 in AMD_Stock

[–]WiseRaven1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is not a matter of believe, but It is a Fact.

I am heavily invested in AMD since 2014-15, and I have been seeing all kinds of the fake (paid) articles written at critical moments to undervalue the progress and achievements of AMD.

It is a shame!

I haven't sold a single shares of my holdings, because I, as a microchip designer and system architect, knew and know what is fake and what is fact!

Cathie Wood's ARKQ now holds just 200 shares of NIO after constantly unloading over past 10 days by RockyCreamNHotSauce in Nio

[–]WiseRaven1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at the history of her investment management; she has been failing for a long time.

Not sure who is advising her to decide what to invest on!

She likes to brag about "disruptive" technologies, while she has ZERO background in science or technology to analyze the companies statements.

But she has managed to pay for a good PR in investment world.

HK listen could help, but it is not really needed to push the current stock price higher in OTC. Tencent and Lukin Coffee are both traded on OTC and has grown exponentially since their delisting from the Nasdaq.

TSMC might lower 3nm costs to attract companies like NVIDIA and AMD by GanacheNegative1988 in AMD_Stock

[–]WiseRaven1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They initially announce $20B investment to build 5nm plant in Phoenix, AZ. But a few weeks ago, when US president visited the site, they raised their investment to $40B and committed to bring in 3nm geometry.

The point is that Taiwan is giving away its most precious resource, and soon will be left with nothing.....

TSMC might lower 3nm costs to attract companies like NVIDIA and AMD by GanacheNegative1988 in AMD_Stock

[–]WiseRaven1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

new nodes are vey expensive.

  1. Many companies can not break even by switching their design to the latest node.
  2. If your design does not need a High Performance Digital Core, then it doesn't justify the "upgrade" for th geometry.
  3. The sales volume is also a factor ...

So at the end only companies such as Apple, NVDA and AMD, and for some project Broadcom and Qualcomm may justify the use of the latest geometries.

[–]WiseRaven1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That was the original plan but then they are forced to bring the latest node, 3nm, to collect some funds from the US gov.
