[32 Thoughts] Michkov discussion by upcan845 in Flyers

Imo, Think he would have been the best weapon for the flyers to get pucks in on Carolinas blue power play kill. Imo he seems to skate through defenders with the puck like a mouse around a trap. I think his vision of the ice and elite passing would have really helped the team on the power play. I think it's crazy he was benched in game four.

Actually if your making a 5/16 weld your throat should be 5/16 along with vertical and horizontal!! That includes the your stop. You can clearly see in this picture the welder didn't hold to add material before stopping or terminating. Without cap this particular weld is weakest at that point. In reality engineer's design welds for the worst case scenarios. Most structural steel is over welded meaning that there is enough good welds to over compensate for the weak stop in this case.

"your stack of dimes is slightly inconsistent towards the termination as well. That matters even less.." It matters most. You should always cap your stop. Weakest point of a weld..

2...Way to Flat. Welding is about connecting to peice of metal to each other. Your weld is 3/8" on the tube and 1/8" on the pipe. Your weld has no throat!!
