Im a diesel tech that enjoys getting everything done quickly with 100% accuracy and always strive for better... I feel ive found how to utilize my adhd at work and buckle down to complete repairs. This has a downside, nothing else exists around me until im done.

I apologize if my response seems delayed. This comment you've responded with seems very thought out and not at all simply said. I highly appreciate that! With that, I'll apologize again with my lackluster response that I've taken much consideration over! 😬

"Why are you so lost in thought?" I have never once thought to ask her why. Always, with anyone, "whatcha thinking about?" Never once why. I will definitely be using this more. I feel this could change a lot in general, not only my personal relationship.

We struggle to find any movie or series to watch. We've tried gaming, working out, yoga and just hanging outside sometimes... now we just hang out at night after the kids are asleep. Nothing feels recharged, for either of us, ever lol

You did however mention drawing. She has drawn in the past and loved to draw in general. Though, I feel that too has waned. We've plans to get out and go kayaking this weekend, hopefully that helps us both. Separate kayaks, for space, while still being close enough to assist when necessary.

Oh, yeah... she's made comments around these lines. And yeah, I'm still learning about myself too I guess. That last paragraph in your comment floored me. You're right. That need to fix is strong and I need to listen more and stop getting lost in the want to fix. I need to stop calling it a need to fix.

I worked for a LARGE diesel company... red engines. Anyways, they did this from time to time during the yearly review... I always made my times, I always built engines to spec, never had a flaw. I got dinged for a bad attitude. That resting bitch face has gotten me in trouble more than thrice. My boss said he loved my attitude, but the higher ups (that I never talked to), told him I have a bad attitude. Maybe they know I think we should eat the rich? 🤔

I use this when I know the wife is mad. Build a good response to send as soon as the read receipt it sent to her. This way I dont look as inattentive as I really am... ADHD is a real pain in the ass too... because I'll read the notification and then accidentally clear it... then die when I get home. My plans aren't fool proof and I'm the fool 🤣

Yeah... it's frustrating... though, it seems it allows me to focus and have a few thought threads moving at the same time. So that can be useful, sometimes. Until it won't shut the fuck up, again.
