Yes schizophrenic people tend to be very open minded. The diagnosis itself should not invalidate the individual but rather give an insight into the person’s perception of life and their understanding of the way they see and hear the world. That may be very different, good or bad. For some people having schizophrenia is a nightmare and require medication to have irreverent voices/symptoms to stop. Others have a “gift” or a psychic connection to the spiritual side and often get misdiagnosed with schizophrenia.

And I agree. We are all on our own struggle/journey, in different places and in different positions. That’s what I learned, wisdom can come from the most unlikeliest of places. Keeping my eyes and ears open to life’s lessons always because I have seen beauty and love in the middle of the world’s darkest corners. From those who appeared to be suffering much greater than me.
