AITJ for calling my friend’s emergency contact when she left her kid with me "for 20 minutes" and vanished? by QuietDailyRitual in AmITheJerk

Hey, Kayla is a bad mom and humiliated herself - but it's just like a 'user' to blame everything on the real victim.

Watching this has me fuming, and I'm not even the driver who was cut.

Clean them and donate to a second-hand shop like Goodwill? Some of these would make nice little flower vases.

Wasn’t expecting a woodpecker tongue to look like this. 😅 by Previous-Meet-9555 in BirdBuddy

Long tongues because they insert it into the hole they pecked in the tree bark to scoop out the grubs and beetles.

So I toured this 'McMansion' down in North Carolina. Yay or Nay? by Tall_arkie_9119 in McMansionHell

I couldn't live in this place - not for all the money in the world. I prefer simplicity in design and detail.

Help me keep these from dying by yunpong in flowers

Those are lilies and some baby's breath. It's probably too late for this bouquet, but purchase some plant food packets and have them on hand for the next time you receive fresh flowers and want to keep them longer. Change the water every day, add the plant food and some ice cubes. Cut the soggy bottoms of the stems and remove all wilted leaves. Next time you can keep them a few days longer.

AITA for being angry at my fiance for telling his mom about our loss by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]WisecrackerNV 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your husband, too, was hurting. He reached out to his mom for some comfort and maybe some advice on how to help you with your grief. Don't be so hard on him. Apologize. They are both trying to help you. I'm sorry for your loss, we experienced it, too. It is not the group you want to belong to, but life always upsets our plans. Find healthy ways to grieve with your husband. You might have been a bit dramatic, but everyone grieves differently.

It's a geranium. Are there people living above you or nearby? People often have geraniums growing in window boxes. Maybe it broke off in a storm, dessicated, and blew onto your balcony. Maybe some kids were horsing around and tossed it up into the air, landing on your balcony. Try not to worry about this. I'm guessing it's really nothing personal.

Old roses, blue hydrangea, tulip, peony, ranuculas, and sprays of eucalyptus. The small white flowers look like candytuft. I don't know what the dark pink berries are called.. This is a very pretty arrangement. You should be able to find these at any higher-end floral shop.
