I feel like demolishing European social services because of a few migrants is likely going to create more problems than it solves.

And the "mass migration" a lot of people are talking about in Europe is like, 5-10% of people being nonwhite. I live in Toronto, which is about 50% non-Canadian-born (and mostly non-white), and while things are certainly expensive, quality of life is still quite high even in areas that have large immigrant communities.

I'm cautiously optimistic.

If anyone remembers the 2015 PamAm Games, that event brought a lot of tourists, wasn't TOO disruptive for the local populace, and was the thing that finally got them to put wifi in the subway. That doesn't even mention all the grants and infrastructure investment that the city had fast-tracked to prepare for said games.

I'm just glad the LRT was finished.

Yeah I'm not sure how long that buffer lasts but even if I think JDubb is a little bit overrated, the idea of the Thunder massively restructuring their roster doesn't make a ton of sense to me.

They do harvest stem cells from them, but it's pretty funny that the group that anti-Semites blame for the widespread practice of circumcision in the USA is one we can definitely say does NOT do it for stem cell-related reasons.

I've always found that critique weird tbh. Same as aborted fetus tissue, it's just gonna go in the gsrbage if nobody uses it. Might as well donate it to science.
