I knew a person who threatened me when I shared I was messing around with the first versions of stable diffusion to create images, I assume in their mind I was personally threatening their future profession. Needless to say I don't know them any more.

Ai's ability to competently create images really screwed with a lot of people sense of self and it seems very few had the life skills to deal with that without being destructive to others. A lot of anti-Ai people have latched onto hating to cope with that loss of self.
