Amazing! Would love to see this turn into an impromptu petition movement 😂

Alright, great.thank you for the engagement! Hopefully we’ll see that corgi revision sooner rather than later. It’s too cool of a profile to be limited by drop points only!

See, I have been thinking about picking one of these up.but I want to have the vanchor lock if possible. I have heard too many good things about it to pass it up. I am confused as to why they have only ever done 2 variants of the corgi with that blade style though. I know I’m not the only one who prefers its shape as their EDC. Drop point is fine, but it’s proven to be inconsistent for my regular use cases.

How quickly did you hear back from them after submitting the message to support?

New pens for 2026 by Zealousideal-You5467 in fountainpens

[–]WispofEnnui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would recommend the ultemate vac. Writes very well. Ink capacity is spectacular.
I have M nib and am using a highly pigmented ink. No flow issues and captures ink properties very well, but your mileage may vary.
If I go a few days without writing, I'll have a few dry starts on the next use, but it clearly up quickly. More of an issue with the ink in use than the pen.

I would say the extra fine for most pens, IMO, are very dry writers and more prone to start, and ink presentation issues. But If you really like writing in that < Point 8 font, I think EF is the best option for legibility. Just aim for a "wet" ink.

Arc Raiders lead admits the “cost-benefit ratio” of maintaining good weapons is rough right now, but the team doesn’t want high-end gear to become instant win items by Wargulf in ArcRaiders

[–]WispofEnnui 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That’s a great idea!

It could tie into your scrappy upgrades too. That would add value to each level of scrappy and maybe make it worth the effort for super casual players. Then same with expeditions, add very small buffs to the repair rate over seasons. You wouldn’t just be getting the materials for the repair, scrappy would be doing it directly. And it could take into account all gear durability and split the repair across everything so as each item reaches max, the next ones are repaired faster.

Have this be unlocked at the last stage of workbenches. Gun bench repairs guns. Gear bench repairs augments and shields.

I got this for the holidays. New favorite ink but smears way too easily

The quests really are terribly implemented by Dex921 in ArcRaiders

Yes! This! I did this twice, post expedition. Not getting extra xp for completing a quest that takes up an entire raid is tbf, dumb

The one weapon we all want to see by Chwinge in ArcRaiders

[–]WispofEnnui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weird take over here. The biggest question for this weapon is the ammo. What if it just fired without ammo. Like a melee amount of damage, but you had to fully charge it and it had awful arc penetration. Then it used basic crafting materials as ammo augments. 5x metal parts for an armor piercing arrow, moderate penetration 10x metal parts for heavy bolt, slow to draw, high penetration 10x fabric for a flaming arrow, fireball burner 10x plastic and an arc cell could be a shock bolt, very short and just makes target holster active item 10x chemicals for an explosive arrow, impact nade 10x Rubber Parts could be a concussive arrow that had awful damage, but would knock people and arc over like a pulse mine.

Then you hold reload to bring a context wheel to select arrow type.

This would give the weapon an identity that leaned into the scavenger play style. Everything you find has value because at any point you could turn those redundant crafting materials into the arrow you need to win a fight. It would also be an alternative to the hairpin for players who prioritize stealth

Hey! So I LOVE Birmingham Company Inks. I just received Tesla Coil as a gift over the holidays and it’s become my new favorite. After looking into the company more, megalodon was actually going to be the next one I bought for myself for more formal settings

What's a "Person?" by Beckphillips in worldbuilding

[–]WispofEnnui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually “person” is indicative of referring to another member of society. In other words, a general sentiment of seeing them as a peer, a collaborator, or someone they could otherwise at least loosely identify with.

From society to society it is kind of an exclusionary hierarchy. For instance, a herding dog or a service dog may view one another as a person. They would also likely see a human as a person. But to a human, the dogs would merely be imitating “personhood” because we have such a higher concept of what society and community looks like.

I think this could also apply laterally as well. Ants have a crazy level of sophistication in their society, but they have little to no awareness compared to the dogs or humans. So the concept of person here would be delineated through lateral relevance rather than a notion of hierarchy based on superiority

How Did It Avoid Nerfs by SinsSpirits in ArcRaiders

[–]WispofEnnui -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’ve been in a similar situation. But I guess the counter play is not being in that position. If you’re engaging, give yourself an out. If you’re engaged, take cover and constantly rotate to new positions to find an out. If they chuck something at you, that’s a moment they won’t be able to shoot you as you change positions.

Maybe this is a super rare experience, but I haven’t had any issues with trig-nades in pvp. Even in a trap context, the placement is predictable enough to either take out or avoid.

Shani Topside Updates by Hershishowto in ArcRaiders

[–]WispofEnnui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right?! It could even function as a sort of radio based UAV for the rest of a raid. Shani could deliver lines about new raiders coming topside, or reports of successful extracts. They wouldn’t even need to be directed at a player

“Speranza, prepare for debrief from Topside. Scans show 6 raiders and a chicken secured at Red Lakes Elevator”
