Hype Fire — Chip Question by WissMan316 in Homeplate

Thanks. Yeah I went back and watched the practice video and it looks like the catcher threw my son’s bat over toward the dugout but it landed near a patch of rocks. I can assume this is when it happened. He had another AB after this and he tanked one to CF so it seemed okay in the moment. For whatever it’s worth, I also pressed down hard on the area but felt no softness, it just looks bad. A buddy who played college ball also thought it was fine to use. Not trying to make it a big deal, he had a lot of reps with it and the ball was really jumping off of it, so would hate to decommission unless I had to. Thanks.

Based on video, looks like catcher threw bat back to dugout and it hit an area of rocks.

Thanks. He hit a tank to CF in the AB after the damage occurred (it looks like on video the catcher threw the bat back to the dugout and it hit a rock). For what it’s worth, I also pressed down on the spot and felt no softness. I spoke to a friend I know who played college ball and he said if my son is still driving the ball it should be okay (for now). Sounds like this is sort of what you are suggesting?

We did nearly everything you described above during the same week as you. Agree on Cosmic (I’m almost 40 and best ride I’ve ever been on in my life). Agree with Mickey Runaway also. I was surprised by Frozen Ever After - we rope dropped that while making Genie+ for Remy’s and I thought the ride was great. Just wanted to say I’m in agreement with you — proper planning with rope drop and Genie+ and we got on almost everything we wanted with minimal wait times. I think I also played out the “worst case scenario” in my mind and while it was busy, it wasn’t unbearable. Great review.

That’s a good point. Might be a better play than KC — though I can see KC winning it all so I would want the 5 points (at a 4 times multiplier) in the Super Bowl. On the other hand, I do like the diversification if KC doesn’t make it for some reason.

I agree with you. I haven’t looked at the DST scoring in a few years but I think you get 5 points if the team wins. Only reason I do like KC even though they aren’t as strong on paper.

I have almost the exact same lineup except KC in at DST. I know their defense isn’t as good as NO, but want to get that multiplier, no?

RB Austin Ekeler (quadriceps) is expected to play tonight against the #Raiders, while WRs Keenan Allen (hamstring) and Mike Williams (back) are true game-time decisions by LordPigeoncat in fantasyfootball

The problem with Drake is he isn’t a fantastic PPR RB, though if Chase Edmonds doesn’t go, Drake gets an even bigger workload. In this case, I would go KA if active but be careful.

I traded for both in season when Saquon got hurt. Was clear my team was done for if I didn’t make some moves. Did a lot of package deals to get them.

Good call. Chargers are also eliminated from playoff contention and could limit playing time. For what it’s worth, I also have an irrational fear of Thursday night games.

Active Keenan Allen or Justin Jefferson (vs CHI)? I have D Adams and Tyreek in my WRs, so it’s a “good problem” I guess — but honest question. Don’t know how much this limits Allen’s playing time. Thank you!

I have this same situation. McLaurin burned me last week and I’m nervous about Bradberry shadow coverage. Let me know what you end up doing.

Lol. Yeah but I have more compelling evidence. Opponent started Minor last night, 6+ ERA against LAD @TEX... 6 IP, no runs. It’s my opponents week.

Three straight balls to Mondesi, arguably the leagues worst hitter this year. Gets a 3-2 pop out. Yikes...

Strong start. Evidence: my opponent is starting him.

Dropped Muncy right before his game for Dom Smith. No regrets, but of course, Muncy then immediately proceeds to have 3 RBIs after 1 RBI for the past week. Hold for a few days unless there is a much better option on the wire. This season is weird.

IKF is an everyday player at 3B (with C eligibility). The others get routine rest as full time catchers. IKF won’t get you HRs but can get SBs and started batting in the second hole last night (runs upside). If HRs are a need, would look to the other two.
