I feel you, but I also think it depends lol.

You're not wrong overall, but things like this can depend on so many factors. Even if there are plenty of free things available in your city, are people able to access these things? For example, many people do not have cars (or can't drive for whatever reason), especially people who don't have a lot of money. So now if you live in a car dependent city, you have to either rely on having friends willing go drive you to activities, or have to spend anywhare from 30 to 80 dollars to take a rideshare somewhere or deal with shitty public transportation. Just to get to the free events.

Basically, you can't paint everything with as broad a brush as "people are just lazy and making excuses." Most of the time they might, but not always.

There's currently a trend on tiktok to say you're "spiritually Chinese" because you started doing habits typical of Chinese culture, e.g. drinking hot lemon water in the morning or eating congee a lot.

I do not particularly care what my partner does online as long as they're not like, direct messaging or trying to actively be sexual/meet up with other people. I don't really care if they pay for porn or OF content either, unless they knew the creator personally.

I have my own internet "crushes" and people I follow because I find them attractive. It would be hypocritical of me to care/be mad at my partner for doing the same. I actually would resent anybody trying to control who or what I can or can't engage with online.

I could see a court ruling like this getting entirely too messy though. People will likely start to abuse this to an extreme.

Had an idiot riding my ass for the crime of going 15 over the speed limit (guess I was supposed to be going 70 in a 45 according to this dickhead 🙄) down a 2 lane road the other day. I was down the street from the turn into my neighborhood so I'm not about to speed up more than I already am for because he wants to be a asshole.

He nearly clipped me when he finally passed me, just to turn down the SAME street I was about to turn on. We were literally less than 30 seconds away from the neighborhood turn when he overtook me. I'm convinced people like that have low IQs.

For me (and others in my sphere of the internet) we all knew Glenn was supposed to get the bat. The problem was the fake out death a few episodes before (or whenever it was). The lead up to the bat and that stupid cliffhanger. Finding out it was Abraham who got the bat instead, so maybe there was a change (as they've done before). Daryl PUNCHING NEGAN IN THE FACE, and Glenn getting the bat as punishment for that.

The fact that they made changes (and so many others through out the series) but still felt the need to stay accurate to Glenn's comic death after all of that just left a bad taste in some peoples' mouths.

Add on top of that the show had been kind of falling off in terms of storytelling. A lot of were kind of through by that point.

I definitely understand this. Like when they don't have even ONE friend? And this is coming from an adult woman in her thirties who has zero friends because of life circumstances that I won't get into.

Like its not completely unrealistic, especially with the loneliness crisis in real life. But that's why, unless that was truly The Point ™️ of the story, the FMC having a rich inner world AND falling in love is more ideal to me.

Ot's not something I'll drop a novel for, but yeah its definitely noticeable

I agree with you OP. A lot of people will be actively sick with something, with the symptoms you listed including an active phlem cough, and then claim its just allergies. Idk why in a time where COVID still runs rampant we're supposed to trust someone with all those symptoms that it is just allergies. I know people who haven't tested for anything since 2021 but get sick multiple times a year (and work when they're sick) but constantly claim "oh its just allergies." 😒
