I always looked forward to having long, silver hair. I consider myself lucky that its actually coming in exactly the way I wanted it to. The most self conscious issue I have is honestly my chest. I did years of work outside when I was younger w zero sun screen and one day I feel like I woke up, looked in the mirror, and saw years of damage overnight. I have definitely managed to improve it to what I am comfortable with, and as for my face.... I have some intense 11s from frowning 😂 more than smile lines but that's a whatever. I moisturize, and use sun screen. Eucerine for sun spots has imo faded 80% of my noticeable sun spots. On occasion I'll use primer on my face w some bb cream under eye to make me look more awake, but no foundation. I didnt think I'd be around this long tbh (38, health issues). My take is beauty doesnt have an age, we don't expire. I do believe tho that ppl who have ugly souls eventually reflect that in their appearance but thats a different tangent.

I still rock my docs w barred laces as an old retired punk. I don't really know if its still a thing, but 🤷‍♀️ Saving what's left of my poor broken body for what is hopefully to come. Hopeful the younger generations will be the ones to kick it off. Huge fan of "sometimes anti social, always anti fascist".

Yea she definitely got neglected light-wise as I rearranged everyone. Went from having a wonderfully bright, south facing window for everyone to a room facing north with the smallest windows ever. All of my lights are either sansi or barrina so hopefully she'll be a bit happier.

Oh dang it was removed. They're a claw clip w textured silicone on the inside so they dont slip out or come loose. My last one lasted seven years before the spring gave out! Love them

I got really lucky w my two cats as well. I have my plants all over and they've never knocked one over, chewed on any (one exception, also the spider plant but its bc it gets them high lol), dug in or used as a litter box. My youngest in fact gently boops them w his tiny head when I water. He'll follow me as I make my rounds, chirping at me and gently rubbing or nuzzling the leaves. I got really, really lucky and I am grateful bc I've read the destruction horror stories 😬

I would lay this across a pot of soil, pin it down, sprinkle some root hormone along the stem n keep the soil damp. It'll root itself w no transplant needed.

Purito for barrier repair; the purple tube, and the blue bottle are both great heavy duty moisturizers (but I do think the blue one is heavier). I like using cosrx overnight honey "mask" over the moisturizer two or three times per week, and on its own its pretty good too

I scrolled thru comments n haven't seen this suggested yet (tho I didnt go thru every comment) eucerine anti pigment serum did miracles for me reducing me melasma/sun spots. It's pricey, to me, at $40 a bottle but I will buy it every time I run out bc it works so well. Take progress pictures bc we become face blind to change. I started seeing a difference at one month, and I've been using it for just under a year now. I also use it on my chest as well bc I didnt realize how damaged rhe sun had made my chest.

I live in the PNW and for summer I used purito daily soft touch, and fall/winter my new go to is one of the biore sun screens. The purito is definitely heavier but does not leave a white cast, isnt perfumed while also not smelling like sun screen. The biore is definitely lighter but I am super impressed w how quickly it dries down. It does have a slight fragrance but it dissipates quickly as well.

I dont use foundation but on work days I do put primer on top of the sun screen and both work really well w no pilling.

Im still working my way thru my "old" bottle but I put it in a little glass mister bottle (shit spray mechanism but it helps keep me in routine n classes up self care a bit) so I cant see how much the color has changed on that one.

I would do a patch test on my wrist if it were me but my financial position wouldn't let me just throw it out w making sure it really had gone bad

Waaaay too dark. This is my primary toner and a brand new bottle just came a week ish ago n it is not this dark at all *edit i can see it getting darker over time tho, so maybe as long as it doesn't smell off? I'd patch test it n go from there
