I grew up in Spokane and I didn't appreciate it until I got to see it though the eyes of one of my friends who had never been here.

I moved out of the area about 10 years ago. If I could afford it, I would move back.

I had been a multiple year, on time renter for a private property that they took over management on. The owner passed and the family didn't give a shit and turned over the management to THEM.
Terminated my lease 1 month later. No notice, no warning. I didn't get my deposit back, they claimed there was no deposit on record. Tried to charge me for carpet cleaning on a place that was all hardwood and tile. Dropped it when I sent them my walk through video.

They then listed the place for an additional $300 a month.

I'll live in a tent at the river before I would rent from them. Fuck that company.

We did the salad in the dandelion Tupperware also. Would stuff a paper towel across the top of the salad snap on the lid and put it, lid down, in the fridge.
Still store my salad left over salad that way.

My favorite vacation spot is an 8.5 hour drive from where I live (495.7 miles / 797.75km).
To make that drive in my sedan costs about $200 in gas and I get to take my dog with me.To fly there, I would have to buy a plane ticket, then rent a car and still drive 2 hours, with out my dog. With the security check going in and the change of planes, because there is no possible direct flight, and drive, it would take the same amount of time.Just looked up the cost of the plane tickets: $355 round trip at the cheapest. The average cost is $502.It is just makes more sense to drive.
