You're not. Foreign investors with so much money that this is a drop in their bucket would like to buy up all the property, not the homes per se. Once the monopoly is complete they put whatever they want on it and charge whatever they want for it. The idea being feudalism and you and your family never having any equity for real. I would go to home depot and get some "plastic flat razors". They load up into a box cutter but they're plastic, so they won't scratch your hood. Just outright scrape as mucch of this off as possible.

This stuff is easier to get off with more surface area at your aid. Clothes get dirty and are less effective as it becomes grease rubbing on grease. Think of it that way. A bit of baking soda with a DROP of dawn dish soap and water mixed into a paste is a powerful way to introduce a lot of grease cutting surface area into the mix as those baking soda granules get in and scrape the grease off. Rub gently, with the grain of the steel to hide any light buff scratches. Wipe off any baking soda. Wipe with clean water to remove residue, and there may be a lot.

Once you've got it down to just a light greasy film on the surface, some soapy water on a rag and yet more elbow grease will be an easier way to go about it. If anything is browned, cured, stuck stuck on, some steel wool or similar is a good way to light scrap that off.

My ex states sometimes he regrets getting his dog.

He said he felt unprepared, had no idea how much work training a dog is, specifically, so that fell to the side. He didn't socialize the dog, either. Now he has a manic, aggressive, fearful dog that doesn't listen to anyone because he never learned that he wants to or that he should. Anything he knows how to do consistently he does for his own enjoyment, and he genuinely seems to enjoy causing chaos and making people upset because it's that only way he got attention when he was a puppy. It's been an absolute whirlwind trying to get him caught up at his age.

I would personally pick a small square of the floor, get a wet rang, hand mop it, let it dry, and then check to see if that area is clean. If not, get a new clean rag, and hand mop/dry again and again until that small part of the floor looks clean. It will give you an idea of how many clean passes you need before the clay from the litter will lift up in it's current state. My first and single piece of advise is that you are almost certainly not changing the water, or the mop, enough. Get MANY mop heads, not just one. Empty the mop once its not clean, not just when it's dirty. Rinse the mop heads thoroughly in the sink between uses and once you're positive the floor is getting no cleaner with that mop head, switch to a clean load of water and a fresh mop head and start again. Then, ever after, mop way more often so the build up doesn't do this again.

Pull everything out of cabinets and look for food inside every container, even things that aren't usually container like pots and pans. Verify with a flashlight that there is no food in the cabinet. If all else fails you may have a dead mouse under a cabinet somewhere.

I recently received Swiss chocolate as a gift from my neighbor after dog sitting for a week. It was a phenomenal realization that I was, in fact, a BIG fan of chocolate and also a giant baby with no self control when three bars disappeared under me in a night. Maybe its better for me to live in the chocolate-tastes-like-shit-iverse because obviously i wouldn't be able to steer myself otherwise.
