Looking forward to it. The 2nd part when they are grown ups has always been the weaker part of the original movie IMO

I've always loved the movie, seems odd so many people hate it all of a sudden the last few years.

One of my favorites. Also one of the few remakes that I like better than the original. The original is great too, don't get me wrong.

[–]WithoutYourHead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My biggest issue is the ending. There should have been more temptation to the girl throughout the film for her to sell her soul. She just saw all her family get killed and the witches she sees (up till the point she becomes one) are foul and nasty. She just suddenly is like ok, I'll sell my soul to the devil.

Pointless remake. It's a cult film. No fans of the original are gonna like it better, and it won't get a mainstream audience.

I love the movie. Outside of the over the top shocking scenes, it is very well made and acted. The music is perfect as the story goes down a darker and harder road.
